  1. I still think ligue 1 will be shite to watch though
  2. I would look at Stevie May, Steven Doris and Rory McAllistar as striker options. They'd smash goals in all season and wouldn't cost us much, plus they are all fairly young
  3. I should hope Boca stays though. I understand the frustration of playing at such a low level, but really, both Goian and Boca are old defenders now. They've made their money, played their part for their national teams and made names for themselves. Surely it's not such a huge blow for them to end their careers as a legendary team that didn't walk away and started back at the bottom.
  4. Who's still buying papers? You know you can get all your news free from the web nowadays
  5. Very true, if trends continue football will be less about clubs and more about mediocre players who think they are above their clubs Not that he is mediocre.
  6. Stupid taig's what? Stupid taig's facebook picture?
  7. They are gonna be out for a few years but they are the kind of team that bounce back. They are the Real Madrid of italy.
  8. I meant that they still have money to buy on players. They are in debt yes, but the fact that they have 20 mil to spend on someone like Carroll tells me they aren't in too much financial trouble
  9. You've got to be kidding. They're like the second most supported team in Italy with a huge worldwide fanbase. They've only let go of all their old players. Thiago and Ibra were bought for 34 euros in total (10 + 24). That's a 26 million euro profit, not "great" but it's to help with their debt which is to be fair very large. But I would hardly say they are in decline, I mean they want to spend 20 million on Carrol or Tevez
  10. People on here are a bit naive. Yes they are great signings for PSG but that doesn't mean they will gel well together. Look at city in europe last season Also bear in mind, the French ligue is one of the only in europe where past winners have spent considerably less than the rich teams
  11. Guys, honestly who knows? Imagine if they bottled it again, I mean ROYALLY fucked it up! And Hearts or Motherwell ended up winning it? That would be funny as fuck
  12. FS she's not that bad She doesn't look great in those particular photos but she's by no means a munter
  13. This one really grew on me. (not literally, I had to buy it and put it on myself) I have grown to hate this kit, it's just so badly designed. There's nothing noteworthy about it, it's just a blue umbro shirt with white lines over it. Maybe I dislike it because it was from the season we finished 3rd, had watterus etc...I dunno, just don't like it
  14. Me too, i'm glad that I was wrong about him.
  15. McCabe has played a few decent games for us, hardly think he's premier league quality. Very overrated. Naismith is a wank, but will probably play well. Jelavic is a tim skelper and a hero. I hope he does well
  16. In relation to those taking the piss out of Iniesta's wife, I have two interesting wikipedia articles for you to read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illusory_superiority http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crab_mentality
  17. I agree that what he did was wrong and was dissapointed in his decision, in fact my original comment never suggested I agreed with his decision. What I though was made clear was that he had played with us for all of his career up to now, got us to a european final and won us three in a row, saving Samaras' penalty. We're all annoyed at him, but to say that he will be forgotten is ridiculous, he is one of the greatest keepers we have ever had. As I said, I thought that was clear from my post, don't think I deserved the neg rep for that but i don't care it's my opinion.
  18. If that's true then Arsenal might actually win a trophy this year
  19. Sorry, forget him if you like, it's your loss. EDIT: Since I seem to be getting a few knee-jerk reps down i'll fully explain what I meant I did not approve McGregor not moving to the newco I am disapointed with his decision. I am merely questioning the OP who says that McGregor will be forgotten. For a player who took us the the UEFA final and won us trophies (mind Samaras' penalty???) I just think it's untrue to say that he will be "forgotten"
  20. I think the proddy, muslim and jewish things are more culturally significant than what some of us actually believe or not believe. For instance, I am an atheist but I'm culturally protestant as my family were. I know a few good rangers fans from catholic backgrounds, they're not all bad guys.
  21. I don't care if my opinion is unpopular, but I will always love shagger. His saves won us titles, took us to a european cup final and he was very loyal towards us; signing a new deal and staying with us for almost his whole career. I'm dissappointed with his decision, but the fact that all of these fans can immediately turn their back on the same man who saved Samaras' penalty last year makes me feel sick
