They’re fucking pish, which is what makes this season so infuriating. They’ll also likely go on and win this tie with a late goal too. Mentality is just different to ours.

I think he’s better than either Borna or Sterling at LB, and our team is absolutely weaker without Sterling in midfield. Theres his direct impact, and then the knock on impact too.

He’s had some excellent highs, particularly in Europe - but against them he crumbles time after time with trophies on the line.

I think his point is that with everything that happened in 2012 and the long journey back without winning much, we lost our ‘winning mentality’ as a club. Can see his point tbh, but absolutely hate the ‘remember where we were’ stuff when we have a shambles of a result / season.

Remember watching cunts like Broadfoot playing against us a few years back, and he was being an absolute bastard to play against. Limited ability but the right mentality. None of our players make it tough for other teams.

Sure I saw a stat on Twitter that he’s been directly at fault for 18 goals vs them since he signed. Always subjective, but there’s at least half a dozen I can think of off the top of my head in recent years. And I’ve blanked out a lot of the Warburton / Murty / Pedro years.
