  1. I didn't say I wanted John Fleck to play specifically but gave him as a choice from 3 forwards available at the time. You still didn't answer my question. Guess your only out to try and ridicule people who you disagree with even though your not willing to put out your own opinion for debate. Looks like your the one making an arse of yourself.
  2. You failed to answer twice now on why you think my selection is bad. Your obviously not wishing to discuss this in good faith so....
  3. Thet key components of that Kilmarnock midfield were available which is our main weakness at the moment. You critised my choice of who I would have played against Malmo and in other matches beforehand without even having the decency of saying why you think it's a poor choice and now you want to move the discussion. Don't think so. Main point is that Ally is playing players out of position while he has players who can fit into his formation. We are playing shit and losing out already on significant money which would enhance our club. And don't even get me started on his lack of changing tactics and substituions when its obviously not working in a match.
  4. Ok smart arse, nice bait post. What's wrong with Naismith on right, Wylde left with Davis in CM? After all, that's the midfield that beat Kilmarnock away 5-1 last May! ;-) Might be a little more helpful if you explain why but I guess that was not your intention...
  5. That's not Whytes fault that Ally has failed to land the players so far he has bidded for. Ally sets the player and price to pay from his budget!
  6. I would have played players in their natural positions. Naismith Davis Edu/McCulloch Wylde Up front Jelavic Healy/Fleck/Hemmings
  7. No it wasn't. Wylde playing on left. Only one from Edu and McCulloch with Davis in CM and Naismith on the right. Everyone playing in their proper positions and much better performance. Thanks for proving my point although amazing that this needs to be pointed out given what we have been watching lately.
  8. Reading comprehension problem? "A figure of £25 million over five years has been mentioned as the budget for players but that’s ballpark and Ally will get more than £5 million for his first year."
  9. Obviously we have different level of ambition when it comes to Glasgow Rangers FC. This was against a very poor Swedish mid table team. We were controlling but not making many chances due to a midfield with no creativity whatsoever apart from Davis who is shunted out right. How about the other matches? Malmo at home? Hearts? I'm utterly shocked that you feel the tactics are working for us.
  10. Edu McCulloch CM, Ortiz LM and Davis RM is right tactics? Yeh, that's what got us playing good football since beginning of pre-season right? Get real.
  11. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/rangers/8439371/Craig-Whyte-pledges-to-give-Ally-McCoist-bigger-transfer-budget-as-Rangers-takeover-edges-closer.html
  12. Not all the blame but he is the one choosing poor formations and players which at the end of the day is extremely important in getting results and performances.
  13. It's really down to player choice. Playing two dumpling in engine room of your side means you can't play football through the middle so ball is either punted to forwards missing the midfield or put our wide in hope a winger can get a cross in. Shame Ally hasn't the vision to see that and try to play good football.
  14. How has Whyte failed when he has given Ally the biggest transfer budget Rangers have had in years? It's up to Ally how it's spent, not Whyte!
  15. "McDowell and Durrant are not the answer." Since the only reason I can see for you to have this opinion is how Rangers have started this season with poor tactics etc or do you have another reason which you haven't yet chose to disclose?
  16. Indeed. Arrogant and hopefully we get some money in for him asap. Whittaker now needs to bring in a few good performances but respect to him for his apology and he seems genuinely gutted.
  17. It's not just the results and the disaster of being out of the Champions League. It's his shockingly poor tactics he continues with even when it has been shown its not working. Even late in a game when all looks grim he continues with it. Edu and McCulloch, Ortiz on left, David on right etc etc. If this doesn't make you worried then nothing will! Even if they got better results with that formation I would hope in a new era we can try and play some attacking football for a change. Football is about entertainment is it not?
  18. So now Ally's failure of a formation and player choice is down to Durrant? lol...amazing how everyone is blamed for our shambles of a season so far on everyone but Ally who is the main man.
  19. Anyone is better than Edu and McCulloch in CM...however Bartley is a CD and we need a player in CM who can pass the ball while remaining good at defending. A controlling midfielder to sit behind Davis when Ally eventuallty learns that Davis is much better in CM position.
  20. Bartley is a backup player so I think we will see a first choice CD sign asap.
  21. Whyte has delivered a transfer budget to Ally. Ally decides how much of that budget to use on each player. What's so hard to understand about that? Ally has been the one blabbing in the press every bid they make and who they are going for. Ally has the same championship winning side which has since, under his management, failed miserably due to poor tactics and player positions. Whyte has done his job and is certainly not the one to point the finger at.
