One thing I did notice was in the trophy room there was a really old cup winners medal. I didn't catch the player name but I'm sure it was from around 1879. The tour guide said that the medal was found in a park in EK by a Celtic fan who returned the medal to Ibrox. I am guessing this must've been a long time ago as I've tried looking online and can't see anything about it. Does anyone else know about this?

But got slated for taking the huge pay packet he was on as he was never getting a similar gig elsewhere. I'm not having a dig at McCulloch, I liked him but he was chronic as mentioned in Walters final season and he was on thousands a week playing against plumbers, if he wasn't bagging plenty at that level then there wouldve been serious issues

Oh absolutely, I think if EH had opened at the end of last season that would've been perfect timing for it, I just think with him being close to 100 goals which he's a cert for this season at least, that would've been a good excuse (obviously no euro football would mean there should be some time available to do it) Not 100% sure I agree on the 10x the player. I think Tav is obviously a much more important player to us and probably given more over his stay, but that's not to take away the vital goals wee Novo scored for us, fiorentina and his sublime goal against Falkirk. Both deserving imo

Maybe wouldn't have an issue if they'd reached a milestone, eg 10 years service or 500 apps or something, or even in tavs case when he hits 100 goals for us. Don't particularly have an issue with greegsy, think davis should've been the end of this season though (if he leaves/retires)

Honestly really impressed. Wife got me it for Xmas and I thought what's the point, I go to Ibrox regular, totally different experience and even walking through the front doors was a totally different experience. Would 100% do it again I really want to do the founders trail. I'm assuming that isn't club affiliated though? And am I right in thinking that's the one where you visit fleshers Haugh and the graves of legends etc?

Wanted to highly recommend the Ibrox tour for anyone that hasn't done it, really good afternoon out and a great insight into the history of the club, the host was excellent as well, the lads we took (10 and 11) absolutely loved it as well. Think the club are doing a great job with it so for all the negatives there may be around certain aspects of the club, this isn't one of them. The trophy room is outstanding by the way.
