Listen Every stadium in Germany has changed its name but it's still same stadium .Think all the clubs have made a good bit of money from it .We should take a bit more relaxed view on it for me .It will always be Ibrox to Rangers fans

Fair comment mate .I guess we will just have wait and see on that one. We certainly have to stay proactive against all our enemies . A few more of his type with similar experience and some of his favourable qualities would be very helpful against the many that seem to be on the attack

Yes mate ,ive got that on old vhs tape. Would be great to transfer it so the younger guys can remember him the way he should be remembered. He galvanised the club when our club was on its knees is 1985. Maybe when Murray was in charge it didnt fit with his ego to be mentioning his name or bringing him back to the ground. That era is now over and i feel David Holmes should be acknowledged by the club very soon

Thanks guys .Have to say i was lucky enough to be at Pittodrie in May 1987 and its a day i will never forget. We did win two trebles in 76 and 78 so there had been many good times since 65.As Baxter said though ,to go 9years without winning the league was hard to take . David Holmes did come in and he did make a monumental difference that should never be forgotten. Sadly i think he has been . Lets hope very soon the club makes a gesture and has this great man back at the ground so maybe the fans can show some appreciation...
