Maybe I was.nt very clear but its not just fitness the players need to work on it is other aspects such as ball retention,passing and moving etc this only comes with hard work on the training field.i have no doubt the team will gel given time but at the moment I believe the players need more work.

Having not had any pre-season to speak of McCoist is trying to improve the players fitness and get the team playing as a unit with 2 hours of training a day.The lack of any pre-season was not the managers fault but bearing in mind some of the poor results it is inexcusable that he is not now trying to rectify the situation by getting the players in for some additional training sessions.
