  1. Sigh. You and the 'tic really deserve each other, you know that?
  2. hohoho You boys never learn. Do your homework, or another Whyte will bite you on the ass. Not a fan of the other Ugly Sister by the way, just a concerned citizen. Adios, May you get the owner you richly deserve.
  3. John Whittaker? This one?: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Whittaker_%28businessman%29
  4. Only if they go newco. Theres a 28 day cooling off period on a CVA offer unless the bidders prepared to put up 3 million quid in the interim and then lose it if the creditors reject it.
  5. I don't like the look of this at all. The oldco (Rangers 1872) will have shares in the newco (Rangers 2012) so if/when it is liquidated, HMRC and Ticketus will own Rangers 2012.
  6. I think there is more chance of us conning Sir Dave out of the cash, he seems to be quite easy to fool.
  7. Dunno. He's got a hernia, so has Davis. Davis gets an op, Lafferty is told he has to play on. Bad management if you ask me.
  8. Miller is just full of it. His "bid" isnt one. It doesn't even make any sense. http://www.rangerssupporterstrust.co.uk/rstsite/latest-rst-news/450-an-analysis-of-the-bill-miller-bid-for-RFC
  9. "In order to preserve the club's history, records, championships and assets, I will put the "heart" of the club into an "incubator" company while Duff & Phelps works to make the "sick patient" healthy through a CVA process that effectively works to "radiate" the toxicity of past administrations' sins out of the patient while the "healthy heart" is preserved and moves forward." - Bill Miller See, serious illness is a useful metaphor.
  10. He hasn't called at all. He's checked: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Betting_in_poker Check If no one has yet opened the betting round, a player may pass or check, which is equivalent to calling the current bet of zero. When checking, a player declines to make a bet; this indicates that he does not wish to open, but does wish to keep his cards and retain the right to call or raise later in the same round if an opponent opens. In games played with blinds, players may not check on the opening round because the blinds are live bets and must be called or raised to remain in the hand. A player who has posted the big blind has the right to raise on the first round, called the option, if no other player has raised; if he declines to raise he is said to check his option. If all players check, the betting round is over with no additional money placed in the pot (often called a free round or free card). A common way to signify checking is to tap the table, either with a fist, knuckles or an open hand.
  11. Damn, had the banner made up and everything:
  12. Do you know what? I'm the silent minority of Rangers fans, who don't buy into your hate filled bullshit and couldn't give a monkeys about what crazy fucking civil war you think you are fighting. I don't want MY club to be the paranoid fucking basket case that thinks everything it does is right, and everyone who disputes it is part of some big conspiracy. The Catholic church would have been dead centuries ago, if YOU didn't keep it alive by raving about it all the time. It's irrelevant, and so are you. Bye now.
  13. Thats it. Thats all you have to say? You do not agree with me = You are a Tim? Ah fuck it. Davie's not short of a few bob, I'm sure he'll pay for it himself, eh?
  14. Like it or not, our club has been acting like a cheap shower of bastards, and dragging our name through the shite. I would be a lot happier if the cash raised by the fans was used to settle these debts to small businesses. The idea of giving it to the admins sticks in my craw I have to say.
  15. My point is that Davie Weir deserves better than to be given stolen goods as a leaving present. If we don't cough up, he'll probably give it back to them himself.
  16. http://www.glencairn.co.uk/news/david-weir-decanter-set-trophy/ I think we could pay for this for a start. FFS how shameful is that, what does that say about what the club thought of him, eh? (td)
  17. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7640549/ hope this is just sky making shit up as usual
  18. Agreed. TBKs are at risk of not getting in a bid at all now, because of the knne-jerk reaction to Ticketus being involved. I'd rather we payed our dues and played a youth team for ten years than liquidated. Murray said: 'I'm working flat-out over the weekend to try to come to an agreement with Ticketus. I need to be in a position by Monday to firm up our bid so that it can be submitted by Wednesday. Without Ticketus, it makes a CVA solution more difficult because, if the administrators terminate the contract, they'll become the largest unsecured creditor and able to block a CVA.' He concluded: 'That would also lead to a very messy and complicated legal process. A six-month legal battle could be disastrous for the club.' 19. Martin Bain wrote: "at the end of the meeting I gave her back the letter addressed to me from you that stated my contractual increase for her to shred." Not looking good
  20. Thats just shite reporting from the ET, Thomsons quotes were reported on Thursday, payment went through today.
  21. http://www.<No links to this website>/news/scottish-news/2012/03/20/rangers-in-crisis-embattled-owner-craig-whyte-s-right-hand-man-andrew-ellis-accused-of-3k-debt-dodge-86908-23795044/ Ellis. Sounds like his modus operandi is a little familiar, no? Blue knights and debts for 10 years would be better.
  22. "Duff and Phelps have agreed to settle the litigation with Mr Bain, thereby avoiding the unnecessary costs of continuing with this court action." They've settled out of court in exchange for him withrdawing the court action. Spin Spin Spin...
  23. Sounds to me like the middle eastern buyers know things they shouldn't, might be more of a blackmail attempt than a takeover.
