  1. Yes, because everyone is doing a great job just now! No need to question anything, nothing to see here!
  2. He's the Director of Communications. I'd be worried if media appearances didn't fall under his brief.
  3. There's very little someone like Chris can do to defend Green right now. Nobody outside of the club has the full facts and if Traynor made himself available to appear, I don't really see how they could refuse him the opportunity.
  4. Well, The Rangers Standard does have a forum as well I think but yeah, it is mostly about the different articles that are put up.
  5. But that has proven the biggest problem over the last week. Surely when serious allegations are made that us being covered by every media outlet, and the fact we've still got a CEO making cringeworthy interviews despite this, that part of his job becomes the priority? And there's simply no evidence to suggest that this has actually happened.
  6. I'm not sure how you could have been a fan of this club in the last few weeks and not see that there are some very real problems. Simply deflecting the problems to people who do not like the club is helping no one.
  7. It's a good question though, why isn't it Traynor appearing on Scotland Tonight instead of someone representing a fan website?
  8. That's because there is quite a list of problems at the moment.
  9. Dude, chill, I think he's writing a book.
  10. You don't have to be Martin Bain to be a good CEO. You don't have to act like Green is at the moment either.
  11. It's weird, I've written quite a bit recently saying about how I think McCoist's time is up. After this week I would take Green to go first over McCoist in a heartbeat. The football is poor and there is no doubt whatsoever that has to be addressed. However, Green is becoming a source of embarrassment in representing the club off the field. Of course our various owners want to be owning a good football team, but if Green is causing a sideshow off the pitch, this is when they would step in and start raising the questions. I do believe one will go sooner rather than later.
  12. At last you're not coming across as a complete idiot, chef.
  13. Of course they will be, but viewing a team with ten years of hindsight and actually turning up to watch them are two very different things. They will be viewed as a unique and heroic team in the future though.
  14. If Green can in fact come out, admit he's made mistakes, before taking a backseat for a while I think it's best for all involved.
  15. I asked you what good he is doing? Right now I see him as a liability to the club for a number of reasons. I don't trust him and I think he's a bombscare who's making cringeworthy interviews to whoever wants to listen. Now you tell me what good he's doing just now then?
  16. "Rangers bloggers" or people who blog about Rangers who don't support the club?
  17. Rubbish, this is Green that has done it. The media want him to talk as much as he wants to talk.
  18. "Right now" what good are Charles Green's media appearances doing? I don't know if any good they're doing. Oh sorry, he said something funny about "googly eyes"...
  19. Exactly, it's cringeworthy stuff. He's in the paper because the media want him to be, and because he loves it as well. There's no specific reason for it.
  20. The thing is, as long as he's coming out with this sort of stuff, the media are always going to be queuing up for more of the same. And as long as the media give him a platform, the more he's going to be happy to step up and speak on that platform. And right now that is doing us more harm than good, so there really should be someone to step in. Say, a highly paid, media savvy head of PR? Nah? Too much to ask?
  21. As I said, he keeps it to himself then. He doesn't blow open the door to criticism by telling it to the press.
