  1. yea and thats our single best reason to go to div3
  2. i barely remember Henderson, saw him maybe a few times, old man raves about him, he also rants about Johnny Hubbard a lot so ah will go along wae dad on this one. Cooper was the best of the wingers that I can clearly remember.
  3. giving my arse a sore head all this shite, think I will stay off here until Thursday
  4. what bursts my arse more than Regan and the hanging tweet is the fact that the SFA / SPL just could not wait to sink the boot in when we went into admin. Would have thought the first thing an association would do is try to help or offer assistance to a fellow member club, leave the enquiries and any punishments till later once the club is sorted out financially. The initial 10 point deduction is fair enough, nobody argued with that, but everything else could have waited until the administrators got their job complete. D&P have their critics but I would bet they have never seen a fucked-up farce of a situation like this one. Would love to hear a parting comment from those two guys about the whole scenario before they finally leave. PS - Glad I got this lot typed before i opened the bottle, the rant woulda went on for much longer!
  5. I want this mess sorted out and to see the faces of the other SPL chairmen when they see an almost empty ground because the Bears didnt show up.
  6. quite possibly the standout D&P statement of this whole saga. a very firm but polite FUCK OFF to Mr. King
  7. Whyte would seem to have a point in saying it had to be done, the non-payment of PAYE and Nat Insurance just made HMRC force the issue. From reading his statement I reckon hes saying he should have put us into admin immediately rather than the non-payments, but hes never gonna say sorry for that, doesnt seem like that type of guy. He had no choice, did what Murray couldnt do, just went about it the wrong way and lied to the fans all along. I just hope hes confident that Rangers survive, for his own sake. He must know he would spend the rest of his life watching behind his back if the worst happened.
  8. Good point there Scotty, the whole mess is full of people that you wouldnt trust to return a fiver of a loan. And all its doing is giving all of us a sore head and starting arguments among us. Cant imagine how bad it would be if we only had the newspapers to rely on, if there was no internet and no easy way for us to get / pass info on then it would be even worse than it is now.
  9. you wouldnt imagine in a million years it would be this much hassle to buy a football club eh? King has a lot more than 20 Million available, he could have funded a takeover himself if he so wished. Probably wouldnt get on the board but if he had his choice of borad members then he doesnt need to be there. Needs to shut the fuck up.
  10. CVA doesnt get approved / rejected until 14 June unless that date gets delayed again. Liquidators appointment is purely standard practice, we will be ok
  11. wondered if I would see Roger Hynd mentioned. My dad walked out of a game one night and said he wouldnt go back until they got rid of him. I wouldnt like to start having a go at players on here cos I dont think they set out to be shite, only ever recall one player who constantly got on my nerves.
  12. 14 June for creditors meeting, shareholders meeting 3 hours later
  13. and what would happen if we were ever relegated? do u need a licence to play in the SFL? Or would they just increase the number of teams in SPL to keep us up?
  14. if its true that Green is working with SFA to get a face-saving compromise then its obviously gonna be another made up sanction that Rangers wont contest, FIFA will be happy, Tims will be raging and life carries on as normal. What a fucked-up league we have, shame we cant get out of it
  15. Thats the one thing thats bothered me since we went into admin, absolutely no offers of help from SFA to Rangers, they could have done their bit to help out a member club and saved the investigations until we were back on our feet. Its as if they just sat there waiting for it to happen then get the boot in
  16. According to big DJ in evening times yesterday, Rangers and SFA were willing to accept either a 12 month transfer ban deferred for one year, or a Scottish Cup ban, but the appeal board threw those options out. I think it will end up with us getting both those options together.
  17. only White Hart Lane for me, 1986 two days after we signed Butcher
  18. My twitter rant was not about trying to collect money to buy the club, more about what we could do in the face of continued attacks from the sfa suits, from the shite across the city, from the media, from what feels like everyone. Something on the streets would have an impact that cant be replicated on the internet. As I said, it was a mad twitter rant and nobody seemed to care.
  19. I had a mini rant about this kinda action on twitter last night, out of frustration at feeling like we are all sitting on our arses moaning online when we should be out on the streets in the largest possible numbers doing something real, something that cant go ignored. We all know we can do something, but nobody seems to want to. I got two replies from one person.
  20. way i see it the sfa have to appear to win or face the wrath of blatter n co. how they will do that is a fucking mystery to me, its either as smith said tinker with the embargo just a bit or go totally mad wae it and kick us out/suspend us. i dont really see that happening but hey the balls up in the air right now with the way this has all been going. the only thing we know is Rangers did the right thing by taking it all the way and in the only direction they could. I fail to see why we have been criticised for that
  21. that LOAF of fireworks would be a sight to see, nevermind the players accompanying it
  22. Yea there wont be much mentioned in public, but I'd bet these guys will never be involved in another admin surrounded by as much hatred, lies and twisted bheggars as they have seen in this one. Glad they dont work for the Tourist Board
  23. Whatever the outcome of all this, when its done I would be interested to hear D&P's opinion on everything that has gone on since 14 Feb. Not just the admin side, but all the shite that has been thrown around in the mhedia, and if they could tell us what really went on behind the scenes, stuff even the papers dont know about. These guys must be wondering what the hell they were dragged into.
  24. I may be wrong but Im sure I read the initial fine was the maximum limit they could give us so how could they increase it?
