  1. My ticket for Ukraine was only £25... And theres still a few tickets left for tonights game if you phone the ticket office just now. £40 but NO WAY will I pay £40 for a ticket (unless its for a ride at Cheryl Tweedy), I don't see how Murray can justify the rise in prices, like I said it only cost me £20 for the Zeta game and now they are asking for DOUBLE that price !! There was an article in one of the papers the other day and it showed how we as fans are getting fleeced by our club for Champs League games. Teams in Spain, Portugal and other Euro countries don't pay any where near the prices we have to pay.... Its a discrace !!
  2. £32 for the cheapest ticket ?? They are having a f. ucking laugh, a year ago the SFA couldnae give the tickets away and now they are bumping the prices up, its a f .cking discrace !! How can they justify these prices ?? Its the same at Ibrox as well, due to work commitments I can't justify buying a season ticket but I try to get to as many games as I can. I was at BOTH the Chamapions League qualifier games at a cost of £20 and £25, then they bump the tickets up to £35 for the proper games (which I never managed to get tickets for)... I then go online to try for a Stuttgart ticket and they are asking £40 .... They can stick that right up thier @RSE !!! Someting has to be done about this, if we let this continue the prices will be at £60 - £70 before we know it !!
  3. Anyone know if Buffel will be in the squad for tonights game against Stuttgart ?? I know he has been back training but does anyone know if Walter might give him a place on the bench tonight ?? I honestly believe that a fully fit Buffel will be the key to us doing anything in Europe this season. On saturday against Hearts (and pretty much all season now) I have felt we have been missing that bit of spark and quality in the midfield, I reckon Buffel could be that spark.
  4. Peter Martin's commentary of the goal will go down as stuff of legends !! "Pick it out Landreu" Pure class !!
  5. TBH I can't see past Real Madrid, a great bet at 14/1.... I just hope the 4 English teams go out sooner rather than later, was getting sooo sick of the whole "we have 3 teams in the semi's" p. ish that we had to listen to all last season !!
  6. The reason we didnt have names on the back of the strips was because McLeish was waiting till the very last possible time to announce his starting 11...As a result of this there was no time available to get them printed up !!
  7. The way I see things: France should get 9pts from their last three games no problem, which leave them with 28pts Italy should have no problems with two of their last three games so they should end up with at the very least 26pts We MUST beat the Ukraine and Georgia which will leave us on 27pts So basically we should be going into the Italy game at Hampden knowing that a win or a draw will take us through, if we get beat then we are out !!
  8. "IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD 2007, PATRIOTS OF SCOTLAND, STARVING AND OUTNUMBERED, CHARGED THE FIELDS OF PARIS. THEY FOUGHT LIKE WARRIOR POETS. THEY FOUGHT LIKE SCOTSMEN. AND WON THEIR THREE POINTS"
  9. If McFadden doesn't start the McLeish will be lucky to make it home to Scotland ALIVE !! 1-0 tonight with McFadden the Hero !! (I feel a repeat of the Holland game at Hampden a few years back) What did I tell you !! Was there ever a dought ???
  10. If McFadden doesn't start the McLeish will be lucky to make it home to Scotland ALIVE !! 1-0 tonight with McFadden the Hero !! (I feel a repeat of the Holland game at Hampden a few years back)
  11. I reckon you could be spot on with that line up, Poetry.... Is that something official or just your own opinion ?? (Are you bib Eck in disguise ??) I would prefer to see Brown on the right and McFadden in behind Boydie wae Hartley sittin on his hole, but in McLeish I trust !!
  12. Just done Boydie and 1-0 (110/1) and McFadden and 1-0 (125/1) with William Hill !! I'm letting my heart rule my head on this one !!
  13. Your wrong m8, McLeish has already said that he is NOT playing 4-1-4-1 with a holding midfielder, he is going for a 4-4-1-1 with someone just in behind the lone striker (probably McFadden)... It will be a dark day in hell if Caldwell even gets near the starting 11 tonight, Hartley as well for that matter, they are both mung chowder !!
  14. aye, i would guess at that exactly, not a bad side at all ive read that hartley is set to start tonight I saw that as well on Sky Sports news, tbh I think its just media speculation with Teale unavailable (Hartley in their eyes would be the obvious replacement). I hope McLeish sticks with Boyd and McFadden, I just think with Boyd sniffing around and McFadden causing problems I can see us getting a wee sneaky goal on the counter attack. Just hope that this would be enough for a win or draw, we need Weir, McManus and Gordon to be all on top form tonight !! F. cuk it i'm predicting a 1-0 win for us tonight, McFadden the goalscorer !! Wonder what Mr Ladbrokes with give me for that double ??
  15. I Think McLeish will only make two changes tonight to the team that beat Lithuania on Saturday... McFadden will come in for the injured Teale and Ferguson will replace O'Conner. ------------------- Gordon ------------------- Hutton ---- McManus ---- Weir ---- McEvely Brown -- Ferguson -- Fletcher -- McCulloch ------------------ McFadden ------------------ --------------------- Boyd ---------------------
  16. Its people like you that disgust me !! I bet you don't even attend Ibrox on a regular basis, yet as soon a glamour game comes up you are right in there trying to profit from fellow Bears who have tried and failed to get a ticket !!
  17. I honestly couldn't give a flying f. uck !! The sooner Engurland fail to qualify the better, maybe then we will be able to watch a tournament without having to listen to all the guff about '66 and how Engurland are the best team in the world etc etc...
  18. I would go with: -------------------- Gordon -------------------- Hutton ----- Weir ----- McManus ----- McEvely -------------------- Ferguson -------------------- McFadden ---- Fletcher ---- Brown ---- Maloney --------------------- McCulloch --------------------- I dont think we can go into this game with the attitude of deffending for 90mins, we can't make the mistake of camping in our half for most of the game. We need to get forward as well (hit the on the counter attack) and thats why i've opted for McCulloch up top. O'Conner and Beattie are both mung chowder and Boydie just isnt suited to the lone striker so I say we stick McCulloch up there. He is probably the most physical attacking player in the side and can hold the ball up better than O'Conner or Beattie and with the likes of McFadden, Brown and Maloney in the side we should have enough pace to get the support to him when needed.
  19. Rangers win 1-3 Boyd first scorer !
  20. I'm not prepared to pay that TBH. Skint student, don't get any grant/loans due to parents income (which I see nothing of), £400 a month wage with a Merc to run and phone bill to pay. Quit moaning and get a job like the rest of us then !! TAX DODGER !! I could argue all day with you, but I won't let idiots drag me down Just a wee pet hate of mine, its bad enough students are sponging off society but to start complaining they have no money just angers me even further, students have an easy time of it and to suggest otherwise is a nonsense!! As for the "idiot" comment, i'll decline to react to that one !!
  21. I'd like to see us going with an all out attacking line up !! Gordon Hutton Weir McManus McEvely Fletcher Brown McFadden Boyd O'Conner McCulloch
  22. I'm not prepared to pay that TBH. Skint student, don't get any grant/loans due to parents income (which I see nothing of), £400 a month wage with a Merc to run and phone bill to pay. Quit moaning and get a job like the rest of us then !! TAX DODGER !!
  23. Agreed .... In his first two seasons with Feyenoord, Buffel notched up 34 goals (roughly) in I think it was 62 starts (roughly), playing in behind the two strikers. Now i don't care who you are but that sort of record is awsome !! I reckon Buffel has the potential to be a legend at Rangers BUT Walter HAS to play him in the middle, scrap all this non sense of playing him wide left !!
