I grew up with Gordon Smith being my first hero before moving on to Cooper. Then it was 1986 and trebles became pretty routine after the Souness revolution. I do have faith that we will win trophies under Clement. He appears to have the right ideas and have the players fully behind him which is half the battle.

I agree that the European games are the best to watch. It's not just the football but the atmosphere always seems electric when we play in Europe. We do need to get back into the habit of winning the league again though.

Yeah that was about my thoughts on Roofe 😂 Would love it if he were to keep injury free for the rest of the season but that is never happening. If he scores the goal that gets us through to the next round then I'll be happy enough I suppose but it does seem a waste having him in the squad.

Not really a lot we could do so I suppose that was about as good as it would get. Not dropping Danillo or Roofe was a bit surprising. Hopefully Danillo recovers a nit quicker than expected.
