Agree with that regarding Defoe and Roofe however Tom Daly across the road doesn't seem to relish the physical side and it hasn't stopped him. Again not suggesting Lammers should be a Rangers player when his loan spell ends.

Tom Daly up front for the scum is arguably more lightweight than Sam Lammers and has been a success. I'm not suggesting we bring him back BTW. Roofe and Defoe aren't big physical strikers and when fit done well too.

Obviously we need to beat the scum. As it stands a win by 1 goal would make the difference 3 and a win by 2 goals would make the difference 1. Both of our home games are a chance to get the GD up. Oddly Tynecastle too. We have Dundee at Ibrox. The scum took 7 off them at home and we should be aiming to do the same. The last time they played at Ibrox we absolutely battered them until the sending off. I actually don't think this is going to come down to GD though. Outwith the OF game both teams will not take maximum points against the rest. Lots of points have been dropped to the rest throughout the season and that was when there was far less pressure than what we and they have now at the business end of the season.

There's an easy explanation why he gets game time. Did you see the bench today? With Sima injured (and Matondo who is pish as well) we don't have anyone else. MaCausland is a poor right winger but today proved that he's even worse on the left. There are simply no other options so will get even more game time from now until the end of the season. The squad is in a sorry state in a number of positions.

I'm not sure he's chucked it as he still works hard and makes runs. I just don't think he's particularly good. He made a cracking run in the first half today and got played in beautifully. He had at least 3 or 4 yards on Gogic but took so long to take the shot (or more accurately didn't take a good enough first touch to get the shot away on his second touch) allowing Gogic to get back and block at the near post.

Still not convinced but hoping he can come good. Didn't think he was particularly good today although not awful either. I felt he got bullied a few times by more physical players which is definitely something he will need to stand up to playing in Scotland.

So nobody is making him out to be better than he is. Glad we cleared that up 👍

What does that even mean if it isn't amazing and what posters are making him out to be something he is not because even those who defend him aren't going over the top about his qualities?

Absolutely nobody on the forum has said he's amazing, even those who stick up for him from time to time. He is however clearly not the worst player in the team and if others in the team (except Tav) could maybe step up and chip in with a few goals we would be in a much better position. Tavernier has scored 15 penalties this season and missed 4. Can you imagine Dessers sitting on 35 goals right now considering the sitters he has missed and the fact that there was a spell when Danillo was fit and Dessers wasn't starting? 😂😂😂

Very decent all round performance today. Forced the OG and scored the winner. Gave Gogic as good as he got. Without Dessers and Butland we don't get the 3 points today.

I haven't. Butland was brilliant today but tend to give MOTM decisions to the forwards who get the goals.
