Folk need to get fecking real, these clubs kicked fuck out of us when we were in good knick! Nobody bothered then about boycotts!! I know of one other ex sportsman to suffer from ALS. The great south African rugby player joost van der westhuizen. He got told he had 5 years tops to live. Even that would be a miracle he was told. Think he's had it two years now. He's now in a wheelchair and speech is pretty bad. Bloody shame what can happen to people. Thoughts go out to Fernando and his family!

Not many older heads at div3 anymore. Teams like east stirling are full of weans. Most teams age 17-25.

3rd division fans hate rangers just as much as spl teams. Remember most of the scotland support comes from these diddy teams. No way would they give up 2 home games to play at ibrox. Sure the clubs would love extra cash, but the 500 fans would go tonto. Division 3 fans don't want rangers in the league. Don't think for a minute we will be welcomed with open arms at there grounds. Will be same hatred as spl, on a lesser scale of course.

Mcallister is a moaning face bam, but he will score 20+ in div 2&3. Lower league boyd. I've watched plenty 2nd & 3rd division recently. Caught plenty of alloa games with gers games being moved. Guys I would sign for division 2&3: Ian russell (livi). Great lower league striker. Rory mcallister. Goals galore at that level. Robbie winters. Free, done great at alloa last season, even although he's 37 I think. Stephen stirling (stranraer). Ex gers youth midfield player. Was standout at div3 last season. Joe mbu (cowdenbeath). Lower league marvin andrews. Plenty of spl and 1st division players that would sign also. Seen it with gretna. Guys like bob malcolm, charlie miller etc should get no where near 3rd division team. Time has moved on.

I watched a few 3rd division games last season. Players with 3rd division experience is not really needed. Average 1st dívision boys that can play football will stroll it. Alloa signed some morton boys and young spl players on loan and walked it playing good football for that level. Maybe ally contacting hartley for advice would be a decent idea. He knew bugger all about lower league football last year.

Cis round 1 and scottish cup round 2. Scottish cup round 2 is 3rd division teams and non league teams.

I notice today the 'rangers fans might boycott division 3 clubs grounds in protest'. They might actually want to fucking ask some of us before they start this pish!

Will defo be all ticket. Police will make sure of that on health & safety grounds. Thing is, venues like ochilview and galabank would be not suitable for cup ties against gers. Police again would rule it out. Not sure if gers will be allowed to visit these grounds. Would think east stirling would be made to move games to falkirk stadium.

Peterhead social club in the main stand used to be all gers photos and gear. Don't think they have it now. Was a quality social club.

Paul hartley had no clue about division 3 last year. He had 1 player on the books when he took over alloa. No coaching staff either. He signed about 20 players and walked the league. Gers already have better players than alloa and coaching staff. Alloa signed 1st and 2nd division rejects. Bloody darren young was captain. If hartley can do it so can ally.

Forgot clyde are another with 3g.

Guy like iain russell (ex gers youth) would piss division three. He's at livi just now I think. Not exactly michael mols, but have to be realistic were in div 3 now. Would do a job at div 2 and 3 level easy.

Thought i'd mention gers will have a few games on 3g surfaces this season. Annan, montrose and east stirling use 3g parks. Also forfar (challenge cup) use 3g also. Other lower league teams that use them are alloa, airdrie and stenhousemuir.

Getna signed up james grady, neil mcfarlane (hearts), alan main (st johnstone), chris innes (dundee utd) and stevie tosh (aberdeen) when they were in division three. They were all 1st team players at their club. Left them for more dosh at gretna. They pished division three and two with these guys and younger lads. I've watched plenty of alloa games over the years in div 1,2 and 3. Caught a few in 3rd last year. Gers will win league with small squad that we have at the moment. Queens park are probably best team outwith gers in that league. Teams like east stirling and montrose are fucking gash.
