  1. So you hate them because we haven't paid them money which we owe them? Can't see the logic in that.
  2. Transfer ban and dual-contracts responsibility will be attached. Wouldn't expect it to be any other way.
  3. Did they tell you if Green is accepting responsibility for the dual contracts investigation or if the transfer ban still stands?
  4. I suspect all the involved parties are wanting to get to a safe place before the announcement is made.
  5. I suspect the deal has been done. The announcement will come later.
  6. An Admin on the forum encouraging all Rangers fans to have hatred in their hearts for everyone associated with Scottish football. Wow.
  7. In sporting terms, integrity means everybody plays by the same rules. You don't apply the rules differently to one club just because of who they are.
  8. The Rangers Football Club PLC is in administration and is due to be liquidated. Sevco Scotland Ltd is a new company and its trading name is 'The Rangers Football Club'. On July 31st, The Rangers Football Club PLC will change its company name to RFC 2012 PLC. At the same time, Sevco Scotland Ltd will change its company name to The Rangers Football Club Ltd. To be fair, it has been necessary for journalists to distinguish the different entities and it has often been confusing to read about 'Rangers' doing this or that when it is not always clear whether they are referring to the old company (still being run by Duff & Phelps, and still holding an SPL share) or the new one, run by Green, which does not yet have SFA membership.
  9. It's hard to know who to believe in all this. I wonder if they are just using these media 'leaks' to check the reaction amongst fans.
  10. Taking a year out is absolutely not an option. It would definitely kill the club, perhaps not for ever but for many years. Trouble is, we need the SFA membership perhaps even more than they need us. If we play hardball over the proposed sanctions, they might just tell us to get lost and bring Spartans in instead.
  11. Wonder if Kelty had any assurances about the SFA membership when they decided to arrange the game?
  12. Ok. I'll remember not to take your posts seriously from now on.
  13. Are you being serious? Who would you start with?
  14. Yeah, the crazy thing is that we haven't been found guilty of anything yet but punishments are already being negotiated? Also, Regan has consistently refused to comment on the SPL dual-contract enquiry because the SFA are the appeal body for that investigation. Surely he isn't negotiating punishments already?
  15. Surely our signing policy should be to get the best (and I include commitment as a desirable quality) available players ate the best possible prices!
  16. Think the sporting advantage argument is that the club could attract better players by offering higher wages than it could legitimately afford to pay.
  17. But he highlighted the word 'sins' when he quoted me. Anyway, the whole point is that we need to be seen as the same club. Green knows that. McCoist knows that and the fans know it. Now that we are in SFL3 anyway, it would actually be easier for Green to go down the proper newco route but he won't because of our proud history. Unfortunately, from the SFA's point of view, that club has sanctions hanging over it, passed down by an independent panel and upheld by an independent appeals tribunal. Can't see them just dropping the sanctions and forgetting about them. The best we can hope for is accepting the transfer ban or getting a Scottish Cup ban if we are lucky.
  18. Is this because I used the word 'sins' and yet it's in the title of this thread? Get a grip. You know what I meant.
  19. As I understand it, CG is trying to transfer SFA membership from the oldco so we keep the history etc. Unfortunately that means taking responsibility for oldco. The only way to avoid all the sins of the oldco is to be a proper newco. But that means being a new club, starting at the bottom of Scottish football with no connection to the old club. Gretna 2008 was started by a group of fans and began life in the East of Scotland Football League. Not even sure if a real newco would even be allowed to use the word 'Rangers'.
  20. Maybe we should refuse to join the SFL and just boycott Scottish football altogether!
  21. Who do we negotiate with? Lord Carloway?
  22. Who on earth is the SFA's compliance officer? Anyone know?
  23. Aye, 'cos taking the SFA to court really helped us last time.
