On reflection, if we had been pumped out of Europe and had the same start in the league, I suppose we would be calling for any other managers head, we’ve got some ground to make up before we can say Gerrard is the man.

Le Guen done all right in Europe but was a total disaster in the league and he went, Gerrard isn't much better.

So, you're not hurting, very good mate, you must be immune.

Hurting, it was evident from before the game with that midfield we were going to struggle, we couldn't stop Motherwell last week either, now that hurt, but according to some on here it was a blip, Motherwell is a hard place to go to ffs.

The midfield is a disaster zone with shit from last year mixed with more shit brought in this year, one man, Coulibaly is out and the midfield has collapsed. I reckon there will be a lot more hurt coming our way.

Anyone who thought it would be solved in one window is daft Gerrads good start has also worked against him as expectations have now gone through the roof.

Expectations have nothing to do with the business side and the midfield is woefully short on quality, one dimensional players kept from last year and Coulibaly skills have shown that up.

Sundays second half performance was deja vu from 12 months ago at fir park, so nothing has changed, the decision to go with midfielders from last year and a suspect r/b isn't a one window problem its a massive failure to address the real issues with why we keep getting embarrassed by pub sides.

When you see the way some posters go to pieces in here after a disappointing away draw, you wonder what a fucking mess their personal lives must be.

When you see how a much hyped team go to pieces against a underwhelming team, makes you wonder what a fucking mess their professional lives must be.

I won't be losing the plot either points can be picked up along the way. I don't expect the team to be able focus on both the league and Europa at this point as the squad needs to be strengthened.

To me the teams energy needs to be spent on qualifying in the Europa League, as the money from that can be used to strengthen the team come January. Once that is done, the team can focus on closing the points gap. We are still a work in progress so to me a win or a draw is acceptable at this point as we haven't yet strengthened the squad as a whole. I have faith that under SG the team will deliver some silverware this season and the rewards that go with it.

He has brought in 12 players and talk of more, in what way hasn't he strengthened, he went with a defensive midfield from last year today and it showed, one dimensional and a lousy r/b who he made captain!.

To rely on qualifying for Europe to get money is a lottery win, the league is the most important trophy and we are struggling to play against an depleted and unstrengthened side who totally overran us in the second half, a bit of blind faith?.

  6. Gerrard attacked the bias attitude of referees and in doing so he attacked the media, since then he has backtracked and been almost apologetic when making a complaint, the Motherwell captain went on the attack midweek with verbal abuse of the worst kind and what did Gerrard do, what every apologist do, made light of it and exonerated the Motherwell captain.

That set the scene today and Gerrard shit the nest, keep the faith, you are having a laugh when the manager is as soft as fuck and I have no faith in him, he couldn't control his side today after been briefed of last years tactics against us, he utterly failed today and believe me Motherwell are laughing their balls off at him just like they laughed at Cordoso's broken nose.

The only lesson Gerrard needs to learn is to get tough, if he can't, he would as well GTF now because he is going to make a right cunt of himself and not the arsehole in the background telling him to shut his mouth on attacking the enemy.

That's what happens. We done the hard part and now we let ourselfs down. Third game we’ve conceded a late goal after doing all the hard work. It needs addressing. In saying that last season we would’ve lost that game but we still lost 2 points that should’ve maintained out lead. Other positives being lafferty looking solid and ejaria really coming onto a game.Really angry but we move on now to UFA on Thursday. However league wise we’ve made things unnecessarily harder for ourselves. Games against motherwell should be and needs to be a guaranteed 3 points.

The first i'll give a minor pass since it was a slip and McGregor was caught in no man's land. The last 2 goals could've been avoided and it was shoddy defending from Tavernier at both. The last being extremely avoidable by playing out from the back, retaining possession and not given away corner kick after corner kick. A team like Motherwell is going to play and celebrate a game against us like it's a cup final. The players better have learned that now that teams in scotland will give their blood, sweat and tears for a full 90 even if it means a point and they will celebrate that point like a virgin getting his hole for the first time at age 40.

I thought that also, we were kicking the ball anywhere like a bunch of amateurs.

I find it concerning that Coulibaly has now been out for a couple of weeks yet there’s silence coming from the club about him.

Perhaps his club have demanded that he is fully fit before playing, another problem with loans.

It doesn’t matter where Tav is on the pitch. He was further up the park today and still cost us 2 goals and 2 points. He’s a liability defensively.

We still have the problems from last year that cost us dearly and it is still costing us this season as well.

Also people on here posting how Gerrard had sorted out the defence, well that idea has been blown out of the water by a bang average team and also the goal at Aberdeen , we have had a dream run in Europe against mainly weak opposition but in our league we have thrown away four points in only three games with the defence taking most of the blame especially Tav, I shudder to think what will happen at the piggery if they really go for it from the start.

People on here need to get real, we are not world beaters and Gerrard hasn't sorted anything yet.

Ufa just beat 0-2 by Zenit.

A different team will start on Thursday.

I felt a lot of blame today was on the manager who I’ve highly praised since getting here.

The past few games his subs and their timings was spot on, today not so good.

Its a real worry tho, apart from Coulibaly we don't have much in midfield, although Ejaria is good in patches. Todays showing is a real concern in controlling a game, especially in Europe.

If Coulibaly isn't fit then I think it will be backs to the wall stuff, although European football is usually a open game with time on the ball.

We invited them on and sat too deep in the 2nd half and we paid for it the end.

We were letting Motherwell play their way instead of dictating the game.

Should have kept it on the deck instead of big long balls that just invited more pressure.

I don't know why we didn't push from the off to get the 4th goal and kill the game.

We move on now and focus on the next 2 games.

Really shows how bad our midfield actually is and with no leadership of any kind.

I wouldn't say they are shite, but they are not as good as many posters on here would have you believe. It's up to us to sustain a challenge, and then we will all find out how good the bheastly bastards are.

We are not making a good job of it so far and any more injuries we will be in the shite. The new found hype this season is premature as the the two away games in the league have shown.

Pittodrie was a decent performance in the circumstances and Kilmarnock was a good performance as well so a bit harsh mate in my opinion.

A lot harsher if we lose the next two games with the same shite performance.
