Yeah , that a fair shout . In the bigger games with one up front , you require speed , which was never Boyds strength . Like I say though , playing standard teams you're expecting to put them under the cosh for most of the game which is where a natural finisher , like Boyd , is you greatest asset .

Do you not think that was because of the quality of the opposition though ? I dont think it was because he couldn't be trusted , more to do when playing top quality teams we weren't going to be in their half , or around the penalty box , the way we would be in your bog standard league game . I'd agree that when tracking back Dessers was more apt to it than Boyd , which we'd see more of in the bigger games .
