  1. Need to shut up a Tim who said less than 15000 was expected. 30,000+ wasnt it?
  2. Ive spoke about this with my nephew and his dad a few times, me and his dad being coaches and him being looked at by Rangers and Hibs. I think I'd take it but it depends on if you had any other offers. For instance, if Rangers came and said "Come to us and we'll give you £5k a week", I'd rip their arm off. When you are fairly young, it shouldn't really be about the money, more the football and the loyalty if you see it that way. If it was just Celtic offering though, I really don't think anyone, realistically, would say no to £10,000 a week. Even if it did mean pulling on green and grey.
  3. Apparently, he was also after a guaranteed No.1 spot, which just wasn't going to happen tbh.
  4. ... is a suitable middle ground in the Hutton saga? I'd say it's more or less inevitable that he will leave, if not before the window then in the summer. As much as a man can love a club, his career will inevitably come first. A footballer has a limited career span, Im sure Alan will realise this and, like Barry before him, hedge his bets and try his hand down south in one of the best leagues in the world. While he won't be guaranteed Europe every season and certainly not the Champions League, he will be playing against some of the best talent in the world week in, week out. Basically, what would you be happy with out of all this in an ideal yet realistic scenario? Personally, I'd be more than happy to see Alan stay until the end of the season, hopefully get his hands on some silverware. I feel he may be rejecting Spurs in favour of the Man Utd interest coming in during the summer but either way, I'd take £9/10m at the end of the season for him plus add-ons and hopefully see one of our own blossom into one of the finest full-backs in the world. The money would help us strengthen the squad and just the presence of a Rangers Youth Development product at such a high level can only boost it's reputation. EDIT - Crap, wrong forum. Who looks like a tard now?

  6. I've never entered before, can I enter?
  7. Yes please. And I echo the sentiments of the above Bears, good to see it. Well done pal.
  8. Just my opinion. I believe Buffel to be at least twice as skillful as Adam, he's a much better player technically and creates more than Adam. All Adam offers is speculative long range shots and shots from set pieces. Buffel has much more energy and is also a better finisher.

  10. We need a goal, not defensive midfilders. Why isn't Boyd on for Hemdani?
  11. Burke has looked as lively as a wet flannel on the left. Everytime, he checks back to pass to Adam or cross with his right. Far too predictable. No changes needed tbh. 4-4-2, Adam on the left, Burke on the right, Fergie and Hemdani in the centre. Cousin and Naisy up front. If that doesn't work, swap Naisy for Darcheville at the hour point.
  12. Being shite atm and bbc aren't linking to the game, twats. Alternative links?
  13. Had his name printed on the back of my "tangerine" top... good times.
  14. Will he be able to play? Im sure he played in the CL this year...
  15. The link is from Tuesday 5 September 2006. John McClelland isn't even our chairman any more.
  16. Not sure who this would go to (possible Mulholland) but I would like to enquire why a lot of the Rangers Coaching Camps for children occur in the west of Scotland? As an avid Rangers fan, I was denied the chance to go to these having grown up in East Lothian and being unable to get through to them. Is this because the Edinburgh teams have a "first priority" to the youth nearer their area or are Rangers just not prepared to deploy coaches out this way?
  17. Thanks for that, been searching everywhere for a date and got nowhere. I think me and a few mates will have to go along if we can get the tickets.
  18. Without meaning to tempt fate, I have a few questions about the CIS Cup Final. I used to go to a few Rangers games during the season but Ive now moved down to Worcester for University. I was just wondering a couple of things if we get there: 1) Any ideas of a possible date? The reason I ask is that I will be home for 2/3 weeks in March and would definately like to go to the final if we make it. 2) How hard would it be to get a ticket? Ive never been to a "big game" per se so I just wondered how hard it'd be to grab a couple of tickets. Cheers people.
