What is your point with this inane response? What has Nacho's touch got to do with how Buffel played tonight? Nacho is invaluable,and proved his worth,time after time. Buffel(decent tonight)hasn't come close so far. He has a point, I reckon. Buffel has played in a miniscule amount of games this year so naturally, he won't be match sharp. Also, if Novo is so invaluable, why doesn't he start? I'd say he's valuable off the bench but doesn't have the longevity for a whole game. Buffel hasn't come close to the first team recently so it'd be miraculous for him to prove his worth over 4 subs appearances this season and no run in the first team for over a year.

A bit like he did with Lovenkrands....? I remember his stunning pass for Lovenkrands to score against Porto, beautiful piece of play and a succinct reminder of what the boy can do if you let him play. Also, on a side note, why the hell are Rangers scrimping and scraping over a meagre £400k for Buffel when allegedly Smith is getting £10m in the budget for the summer? Buffel would be like a new signing now if Smith and the management team took the plunge and actually played him.

Alexander Whittaker - Dailly - Weir - Papac Novo - Davis - Hemdani - Ferguson - Buffel JCD I thought Rangers looked so much better down the right in the second half when Broadfoot was swapped for Novo and Whitty deputising at right-back. Menacing going forward but had enough about them at the back to ensure McGeady didn't get a free ride like in the first half. I don't think Davis plays well wide so him in the centre beside Fergie would be better.

I think if you had offered 0-0 at the start of a match to Gers fans, 7/10 would have taken it and I'd consider myself one of those 10. A good result considering our central midfield was one of the weakest ones we've had all season. With Fergie and especially Thommo back next week, I think we can take it.
