  1. We'll support you evermore.

Its a duty a responsibility and a pleasure to be a Ranger.

My father would turn in his grave if I walked away. Struth "Inevitably we shall have our years of failure and we will reveal tolerance and sanity".

Complain by all means but never by withdrawing support.  My non Rangers friends( yes I have some) wait for me to waver. They don't get it.

Buy a ticket. Don't leave early. Simple.

  2. 1.it is the boards fault we do not have a manager

    2. It is the boards fault we took caixinha with no cv on the basis of a good interview.

    3. It is the boards fault we are delisted.

    4. It is the boards fault we have no obvious replacement strategy.

    5. It is the boards fault they promised us investment and failed to deliver.

    6. This board are toxic and incompetent.  Recent boards have have been moreso. King could sell up tomorrow.  We could get replacement investors.  King and the 3 bears just need to take a financial hit for this to happen. All they achieved is to saddle the club with more debt without improving the companies performance and get the company delisted. In any business. This is not competent.

  3. This is akin to us all thinking we have the most beautiful wife/girlfriend in the world (settle guys I sense some incoming) or the best kids on the planet.

Its about team.  It's about loyalty. It about sticking up for what you have and what you have chosen.

Sutton: so Pedro do you really think you have the best squad in the country

Pedro: Yes I do. Now Chris do you think you have the most beautiful wife in the country or would you not rather trade her for a younger perkier model?

Sutton: WTF Pedro. You are meant to be Portuguese and not adept in English!

Pedro: Aye Chris. Go fuck yourself

    Job done

  4. As I was walking down the Copland road

I met a bunch of strangers

    and they said to me

    are you going to see

    the famous Glasgow Rangers...

I know who we are. I was paraphrasing a song I've been singing allll morning. you'll note I said welcome to Rangers.

Now off to pub. I'm stuck in Brighton on business but found a pub.

Enjoy the game lads and Geo behave yourself with my ticket!

  5. Never fear, inevitably we shall have our years of failure, and when they arrive, we must reveal tolerance and sanity. No matter the days of anxiety that come our way, we shall emerge stronger because of the trials to be overcome. That has been the philosophy of the Rangers since the days of the gallant pioneers.

Mr. Caixinha, welcome to Rangers. Learn about our way. I suggest you read some of Mr Struth, speak to a certain Mr Smith,  and speak to some old players include the oldest gent of our club Mr Bobby Brown. You are now the custodian of the Famous Glasgow Rangers. There is much to learn. If you do well Sir, then in years to come you may have the privilege of passing your wisdom on to younger managers. You have the opportunity to take us back to where we belong.

    Good luck.

  6. If you or your mate can't make Sunday match due to illness, hangover, breach, banned by wife, still with a hot chick, any other crisis I will collect your ticket at face value and give you £100 to donate to Josh Adair fund or other Rangers related fund.

Not that I'm wishing any bad news for fellow bears.

If you are in this position let me know and a seat is not wasted and a fellow bear is helped

    true and blue.

  9. 11 minutes ago, The Dude said:

They won't release the breakdown of offences by religion of the offender because largely it's totally irrelevant.

I agree it's irrelevant.  Yet they publish crimes by supporter. Yet they publish crimes against Catholics.  I am not religious at all. I just want a little consistency against our support. I also wish we wouldn't take the bait.

  10. How's about police Scotland publish:

    1. How many crimes committed by Catholics. Protestant, Muslims etc.

    Thought not.

Why is OK to tarnish a club.  Imply that crimes are committed against Catholics but not by Catholics.

So  predictable. But..... Imagine for a moment that we had NOT responded by singing TBB or by invading the park. We would be untouchable and all the focus would be on the player assaults.  We need to try and stop giving THEM ammo despite the provocation. I know the younger ones find this difficult.

  11. Ok ok guys. Greig not Grieg.

But you have to show off with the composer shit.

Its funny because I was following my I before e rule and I'm actually a bit of a spelling pedant and it didn't look right..... but you guys sure don't miss an opportunity to take the piss.

  12. Ok it's a quiet Sunday and I'm bored so....

The colour of our top changes slightly from year to year.  We used to be known as "the light blues" when I was a kid (70s) then we had Sandy in Royal Blue.

My favourite colours were the John Grieg lighter blue with white v neck  or the darker blue 72 all blue we wore against Bayern.

    What's your favourite blue?

  13. In 1972 we were banned after Barcelona. The club was held responsible for its fans. We were not allowed to defend our trophy - and that was 44 years ago when I was 11.

Recently it has been seen as acceptable (by the SFA for wee teams to invade the pitch. It is not! This tacit acceptance of pitch invasions has created an environment where yesterday's disgrace was the inevitable sequalae of SFA inactivity and government preoccupation with songs!

The SFA had negligently ignored Motherwell's invasion last year, turning a blind eye and giving permission to all clubs fans (except ones).

The Hibs pitch invasion was the catalyst for everything else. Hibs must be held accountable.

Afterwards the incompetence of the SFA, government and police must be challenged.

When all is said and done the following outcomes should be in place to provide a safe football environment for us and our children and our players in the future.

    1. Hibs banned from next years Scottish cup.

    2. Heavy fine for Hibs.

    3. Hibs home games X 4 behind closed doors.

    4. Hibs no travelling fans for 1 season.

    5. SFA statement that the above is the punishment clubs will receive for pitch invasions. In addition in league games a 3 point deduction will occur. Cup invasion will result in expulsion.

    6. Football banning orders for all Hibs fans identified on the pitch and jail for those assaulting players.

If these steps were put in place, there will be no further pitch invasions.

    Additionally

    7. SFA should be punished (fine) by UEFA or Scottish government for being complicit in not condemning pitch invasions following no action against Motherwell.

    8. Cosgrove should be disciplined by BBC for his flippant comments regarding what was a serious public disorder. See Bill Leckie in the Sun for a balanced and appropriate report.

    9. Petrie by his flippant comments must be prevented from having any influential role within the SFA.

    9. Sturgeon should be taken to task for congratulating a club and not condemning the actions of its supporters.

    10. Our club should fight this at the highest level   . Has this assault on opposing players of this type ever happened in European football?

    11. The police response was beyond shocking in terms of preparation, anticipation and response. The immediate response of the chief constable in terms of suggesting they responded well ignores their complicitness in terms of their responsibility for prevention; in tones reminiscent of the police response at Hillsborough.

    12. G4S security staff are simply not fit for purpose. The wee girl in the video clip looked terrified. The SFA and all our clubs are also complicit in not ensuring that they have security staff that can deal with... em.... Breaches of security.

    13. Our fans must be congratulated for their restraint.

    14. We have been saying for years that the banning of songs should not take precedence over assaults. Now government must listen.

    15. The BBC, the SFA , the police, the government do not seem to recognise the enormity of yesterday's disgraceful scenes. We should NOT  respond as they want us too  . We should be dignified but no silence!

These are are our rights and we should demand them. From our club, from our players and our supporters. In this forum we bicker too much with each other - petty family squabbles.

    No more I say.

Now we rally like never before.

    Dignified strong together as one.
