  1. I think we agree that he needs a preseason and a transfer window. I would like to see him get a couple before he is judged properly. I have said before that I think there is clear signs of improvement with player that have chucked it and not good enough. I just hope that next season after the 1st defeat he isn't getting called to be sacked
  2. I really hope the majority of fans can get on side with beale. He has a hard enough job without the negativity. I think he will get us back to winning trophies. But he needs a preseason and a transfer window at the bare minimum. I expect us to be alot better next season
  3. The way he has improved the team even though alot of players are not good enouh. I wouldn't say he isn't learning. If anything I would say that the last 2 games he has been tactically spot on. Totally agree with what you say about someone that hates loosing. Exactly what we need throughout the club
  4. Thats a fair point however it was probably the exception to the rule and not the rule for gio. I still believe beale to be the right man.
  5. For me there has been more than enough improvement to already to show he is the right man. With additions to the squad and a pre season I'm confident for next season. Compare our last 2 performance against them compared to under gio and its clear he knows how to set the team up. Sadly at the min they have better players than us and a stronger squad
  6. Not sure about this one but can understand it for a free when we have other areas we need to spend on
  7. I like alot of parts of his game. It would really depend on the budget we have if we should sign him or not for me. I think he is a good player and if we can get a team firing on all cylinders I think he could be the star man. 5m could be too large a chunck of the budget
  8. So you would keep raskin and cantwell and get rid of every other player
  9. Certainly more than 3 players and 1 that is injury prone I assume you agree that is a wild opinion
  10. I'm sure some are but there is many that are just idiotic to say the least
  11. Someone posted outwith souttar, cantwell and raskin every single player can go.
  12. There is definitely still negatives. But I rate beale and I think he will get it right. There a clear improvements in the short time he has been here and in the short time he will have had on the training field. Two clear signs. Set pieces we have improved in the attacking sense but even more defensively. Before GVB left everytime there was a corner it felt like we were going to lose a goal. Secondly, we are controlling the midfield much better. Interchanging of passes with structure and variety to our play. Out of possession we look far more disciplined Our front 3 really really need to improve and be far more clinical. Goals change games and it went against us today and worryingly purely on today's performance we were weren't able to get a grip of the game at all after they scored. If we don't fix those 2 issues that could cost us next season I see alot of similarities in the progress in our team to gerrards 1st season. In gerrards second season we built a team that was better than celtic(imo) that had a bigger budget than us. In our 3rd we had a team that mentally could win the league. Just like gerrards time I think we need to trust the process
  13. I think that's pretty harsh. There has been definite mprovements tactically. Especially out of possession, set pieces, control of midfield I don't think his subs have been particularly bad. I suppose you could look at the last game v aberdeen bringing on arfield and wins the game. Your correct he hasn't beat them. That has to change He signed cantwell from that market and he looks pretty good value. Previously signed when he was here with gerrard Goldson, aribo, defoe, bassey, arfield, Davis and balogun from England. All have been good signings and provided value
  14. Brilliant signings from Ross Wilson
  15. Fair enough mate doesn't really relate to my initial post
  16. That's a different question to the one which was initially posed. I never said his philosophy won trophies. It was asked is there a style of play and patterns of play. I think it was clear we had that under Gerrard. And under Gerrard it was clear that came from beale not the manager
  17. Beale is a very Good manager. With the limited time he has had on the training pitch you can see we have improved
  18. Saying the wheels came off is a bit extreme I would say but each to their own perspective Imo he has proven quite clearly in the past here that he is able to build a strong team with a good football philosophy. Our performances in the league and Europe under gerrard proves that
  19. I think there really needs to be a push from the stands to point how unacceptable this is to the board. There has been although leeway now given to them. Everything this club needs to be geared to winning trophies. At the minute I don't think that is the mindset
  20. I would agree there is very limited evidence of this at the minute. However, I expect this to change in the summer and to be fair he has proven in the past he is capable of building a team that has a clear structure and patterns.
  21. This serious has to change quickly The lack of success can not be tolerated
