It's a catch 22. If you're even any sort of good and rated youth at Ibrox you're going to be judged beyond anything you can imagine. It's not like being at a Hibs or somewhere that the fans aren't expecting perfection. A lot of the time i'm with the majority moaning at Walter for not playing them, but imagine coming on and your first touch at Ibrox is a momentary lapse of concentration and you give the ball away. You're going to be slated to fuck and your confidence will be shattered!
If we ship the ones we know have a 50% chance of future out to lower SPL standard teams (Dundee, St Mirren etc) then they should stand out if they're good enough. It's what Charlie Adam did, it's what Furman did at Bradford, and it's what Efrem (and Shinnie to an extent) did at Dundee last season. Positive stuff all round from my angle.
