Im hoping this is a HUGE wake up call to both the players and the manager. The players should have done better no doubt but the team selection hasnt helped us at all. We all know how hungry teams can be in the cup competition so we should have started best 11 and then when ahead bring on the likes of Hagi, Colak etc to give them minutes.

Colak scored a good goal but his general play and awareness is shocking.

He needs to do whatever he needs to do to adapt to a game, he has little to no movement whatsoever and it doesnt create space, morelos creates space for others just by clever movement. Colak is very static and hasnt been in the game

Never a pen but cannot complain being a goal down, fucking hoaching in the final third. Should have brought in a striker in January as Colak does not fit into the way we play under Beale. Cant link play and looks lost

I was highly critical of him earlier in the season and that performance tonight is why. We all know that is what he is capable of and tonight he was back to his best. Great passing and movement and even snapping into tackles. A complete performance from him. Hopefully we don't see the timid mouse barasic again any time soon.

That would be fine if we changed strategy and formation to suit the striker but we don't. We play one way under Beale and that won't change You fit into the system or you don't play.

Agree although I do think he does need to adapt his game. I rate him in terms of his finishing but he needs to work on the rest of he wants to be a starter. Morelos even when unfit is a nuisance and works a defences harder plus holds the ball bringing others into play.

Aye it's been a while. My only real complaint is just sakalas lack of footballing brain and limited ability despite him actually having a good game we could have been even more comfortable. Maybe I'm just being harsh and greedy
