  1. strange thread indeed. But he kept his season ticket last year despite losing the title and selling carlos?! i find it brilliant that this morons ridiculous rantings have finally found him at the wrong end of REAL rangers supporters fury. any time i have seen a post by him it has been nothing but bollocks. pure and complete bollocks. his adidas claim??? umbro have always had another year left on their deal, so do carling... any new deal wont be announced til jan earliest. he makes shit up, claims sources and expects us to lap it up. i agree that these people should be banned. to get wound up so easily by a blatanly over exaggerated headline in the dhaily rebels sister paper shows what a naive little twat he is. the sooner his types are removed, the better for the site. watp GLASGOW RANGERS CHAMPIONS OOOOOHHHHHH, OHHHHHHHHH, OOOOHHHHHH, OHHH, OHHHHHH
  2. great post! add davis - 23, thomsons - 24, bougherra - 25 really the only first team players who play week in week out who are over 30 are mendes miller and weir. thats it. love how everyone thinks he hates youth. simple fact is shinnie isnt good enough, furman wasnt good enough, lennon isnt good enough and all the reserve players of the same ilk. he isnt going to play 17 year olds but wylde wilson ness and fleck are the hopes but they could just as easily turn out to be mediocre in the long term like that other bunch.
  3. setanta originally gave us £59million for three seasons - so £100 million-ish for five years isnt that bad!! no one complained about he original setanta deal at the time (clubs didnt i mean) and the £125million for four years which setanta where supposed to give us was fucking pie in the sky stuff anyway blatantly! more dhaily rhecord depression mongering.
  4. thats what i thought! was he not the butt of the "dont blame it on gerrard, dont blame it on hamann, dont blame it on biscan... blame it on traore" tune!?
  5. Lauren, Noe Pamarot, Djimi Traore and Jerome Thomas were all ditched this morning by portsmouth along with sean davis but he was quickly snapped up by bolton. do any of these guys interest you? surely wont have the top ten prem clubs sniffing around them and would quite comfortably come up here. Lauren is the closest there is to something that interests me personally but just wondered the opinions of others...
  6. i have been 3 times previously and we have won everytime! its a great laugh! was better in the super ally days though cos he was guarenteed top scorer everytime. hateley turned up once and was embarrasing. does anyone know we are the european champions at masterS??? the last time we won the british cup we played chelsea ajax and bayern in a euro tourny in london and beata jan wouters led ajax 6-2 in final. there aint been one since so we are still euro champions!!!
  7. no need mate. if you dont have any interest in the post, you aint forced to look at. i asked a question which i was intrigued to know the answer to and had it answered well by other fans. some amount of people comment on threads on this site just to be arseholes. if you are that bored at work get a new job.
  8. superb lads thanks! didnt realise it was in the whole squad. thank fuck! thought it was possibly match day which would have been a little more of a concern with regardas to who our bench would have been! just remembered everyone raving about how barca were in great nick for the rule changes as they have valdes, puyol, pique, xavi, iniesta, messi, bojan, busquets etc
  9. i suppose so mate... but at least they have casillas, guti, raul, miguel torres who would all be in there squads anyway... plus i would bet their youngsters are decidely better than ours!
  10. i know there is a new law coming into the champs league this year regarding match day squads including a certain amount of home grown players... now originally i believed this to be six players from the nation of the clubs origin, and that it had just to be in both the first 11 and subs bench... but someone recently suggested it could be six players that the club themselves had to produce (and also that it had to be in the first 11 only but i dont believe that shite) looking at our squad, watty must be bricking it. i can only invisage fleck, wilson... we could maybe get naismith on a technicality cos he used to be a rookie with us before killie... then there is the trio tipped to leave ferguson, adam, mcgregor... anyone able to clear this up???
  11. i will go along with the selection of players i have seen at ibrox... goram, hutton, gough, amoruso, numan, gascoigne, albertz, van bronckhorst, laudrup, mccoist, prso subs - klos, bougherra, b. ferguson, mccall, cuellar, hateley, novo (for being the only legend currently at the club, otherwise itd be deboer for his one season of sheer genious)
  12. cool. cheers mate. just wasnt sure. wen i went to fulham and newcastle i managed to get tickets comfortably on the bus and wasnt sure if this would happen this time. i will get em from club.
  13. snelders ross konterman ritchie bernard n'diaye n. murray malcolm g. rae maniero gayle another wee team for you there that would at least get an away draw in terms of shiteness against your lot!
  14. does anyone know if tickets will be available on the bus to pompy from glassy? me and a bunch of my mates signed up with another group to the extent where they added another bus to the journey but just wondering if the buses have ticket allocations or if everyone is just getting them from rangers? got my flights and tickets sorted for emirates though! anyone able to help regarding the pompy ticket issue?
  15. i said quite some time ago that sky would not be keen on taking on the spl and i am glad to see this proven right for a purely selfish reason that i wont have to work every weekend for the whole of next season and can keep my season ticket! i hope espn do a good job and this can be a long standing arrangement (should it actually be agreed). i only hope they bring unbiased reporting and a standard of service that makes the bbc and setanta look they way they deserve to look - absolute dross!
  16. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/displa...2516020.0.0.php good article including some quotes from financial experts on how plausible the espn agreement would be. to be honest i would rather see what they have to offer rather than the constant bias on the scottish sky coverage of nicholas, provan n co with only whitey to even it out! i also feel they will have more of a chance to really build a far better show than setanta because they will only have there 46 prem games and then us to concentrate on over here. read the article if you havent already anyway, makes far more sense than any of my nonsense!
  17. i would be that after one season where he doesnt get 15 pens to slot away and his value plummets that the wee eejit ross mccormack will end up at parkhead. dont know about anyone else though.
  18. the only possible reason i can imagine for not having a home game is that you normally need to pay a team of any great size to turn up. obviously it has its lucrative side with the fact that the game would sell out if it is liverpool/chelsea etc but maybe we are just trying to save ourselves any expense at all. i dont know. i am happy with the pre season though. as a season ticket holder we spend enough time in ibrox over a season, this year gives us three great opportunities for a big blue nose day out, emirates, pompy, germany
  19. he is joining bayern munich this summer. otherwise i would have been 100% with you! he is a class act
  20. i only wear the strip when playing football or going to matches. i agree that it doesnt look to classy to go swaggering into other peoples homes or something with it on. celtic know we are the champions, they dont need me wearing a strip to tell em that. i just grin and awful lot more and bring up football conversation and let them tear themselves apart from the inside with furious timmy rage!
  21. Fine post mate , but the use of capital letters and calling them scum instead of t**my ,would have made it sublime! Next Time Loyal! agreed!
  22. we are playing the birmingham or wolves of germany. woopty fuckin do
  23. i was pissed bored in work yesterday and decided to go on a little fact finding mission. it is widely assumed in the media and in the minds of timmy that since the beginning of the spl 11 years ago that celtic have been undoubtedly the dominant force in scotland. but look at this, that little thing called facts has once again come back to haunt their deluded little thoughts... since the beginning of the spl (where we had just won nine of the last ten scottish premier division titles) rangers have won 5 out of 11 league titles (one off celtic), won the most domestic scottish honours (4 more than celtic during this period) and reached a european final (just as many as celtic) in the same year as lifting two of those domestic trophies (timmy went empty handed during their euro final year). just intriguing to think that even when we are meant to be in the midst of celtic domination of scottish football, they still cant shake off the fact that we are, and forever will be, the people!
  24. The only one I know if The Cock Tavern in Smithfields. I think prrtty much the whole of North London will be awash with red white and blue! Not hijacking the post but related - where are people sitting? I am having to book tickets in an Arsenal stand for both games. I am going for the lower tier in the yellow quadrant. Are the gers' allocated seats in the green quadrant (unfortunate colour)? i have no idea mate. my dads mate is getting 8 rangers end tickets for me, my mates and my dad and a bunch of his mates through debenture season tickets from his work to guarentee we all got in the gers end. i have no idea as to whether is green, brown or aubergine mate! sorry!
