  1. Don't know a whole lot about the young guys myself but have a look: http://www.rangers.co.uk/reserve-and-under-19s I did notice there was only one of those twins from Man City we signed there. Anyone know where the other one went?
  2. Part of me wants to shout out all the negative shit and lose it with what has happened, but a part of me also feels really bad and worried about our true financial state. I also want to support the team and get some positivity going, but overall all I just feel like av been punched in the stomach! Fakin pure shitey feeling!
  3. If we are to play like that, do you's think that if we need a replacement for Jela that the striker should be a Kenny Miller type or a big target man like Jela?
  4. Good idea! sell Jela, bring in boyd and templeton and another loan stiker. loan out Ortiz and McKay. Sounds easy enough!
  5. NO!!!!! I think the fans will lose it if we sell for 6m! We know we can get that amount this summer and if we do lose Jela then winning the league and any euro money is as sure as gone! This reminds me of when we sold Kenny for like 300,000 (although we still won the league-but had Jela waiting in the wings). Fak!
  6. A couple of posts on Twitter have been saying 6million! I will super pissed if that's the amount! Many I hate the transfer window!
  7. Hahaha, No I am not Moyes! I was just having a little fun. Many talked about them not being able to do the full money so I was just playing around with some of their players that we would be interested in or would more than likely be offered. I have not heard anything more than what has already been posted.
  8. I know it's just speculation but would you's do 4mil plus Anichebe on a permanent and McFadden on loan?
  9. I agree! If we can't get the money we want or a 1/2 decent replacement, then what is the point? Especially with the Euro's coming, as long as he has a 1/2 decent summer then I would say that 8-10mil region would be do able AND we would have time to get in replacements.
  10. I'd do that! I would also do 5mill and Anichebe!
  11. 4million!!! Hahaha NO CHANCE! I was looking and see that they have Victor Anichebe, Apostolos Vellios and McFadden as strikers, maybe one of them plus 5million. Not sure tho if I would be into that. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/team/squad?id=368&cc=5901
  12. Who would they have to offer if it was money plus a player? If it were 5 million plus a couple million pound player who was half decent, I would take it if I was Ally. We wouldnt get any money but we would probably have a better player coming in that Ally will be allowed to bring in.
  13. The 9.3 million is what CSKA got from selling Vagner Love to Flamengo. They want to use 8miilion to buy Jela. That's what was in the papers
  14. We did at times just hoof it, that I will agree with. But the point is that when Jela is out, we do actually at least try to knock the ball around and did so at points in the game.
  15. I think if we can play like we did today and keep the ball on the deck with the likes of Davis, Aluko, Mervan and Edu, if we have a poacher that is deadly in the box (Like Boydy) then it can really help us. Again, as I stated before, Jela is very good but I think we try to leave it up to him too often and lumping the ball up to him makes it hard for our skilled players to get on the ball and have an impact.
  16. Yeah, I would agree with some of the posts on here already. I think that when Big Jela plays we seem to just rely on him and become a little bit obvious in terms of our game plan. Today, there was so much interchange and link up play along with more players getting involved and having the ball at their feet. Jela is a cracker but imagine if we moved the ball like today and had him sniffing around, getting on the end of things!
  17. Davis and Aluko looked crackin today! Edu played very well and so did Shagger. My only concerns was the lack of concentration at the back sometimes, made a meal out of a few plays. Overall, nice win and good for the goal differential!
  18. Overall, it's clear that we are struggling financially and have been for the past few years. Personally, I feel that it's pretty amazing that a club in our position has been able to retain the title for the past 3 seasons. With the financial weight that the Tims can throw around (in SPL terms) I personally cannot believe that they have not been able to put a team together to defeat us. However, if we are talking about a team that should be worried, it has to be the Tic, because if I was the Celtic boardroom and are looking over at us, I would be raging at not being able to capitalize on our struggles and would be shitting myself knowing that when this gets fixed we will level the playing field! Soon enough we will get this tax shit figured out, I don't know when or what will happen, but when we do, they are well and truly fucked!!!!! Lets go Rangers!!!!
  19. Yes, we are struggling but unfortunately this is the squad! To put things in perspective, we are struggling to get a couple of hundred grand together for new players and even a player at a million pounds seems out of our reach unless we sell. The gamble of course is to remain with what we have got or sell or a couple of money makers and try and spread some of that money into a couple of new players a different positions. I don't understand how people can think that getting a player who's valued at a couple hundred thousand is gonna make a difference. Until this tax shit is over, I would actually prefer us to spend the money on some good loan players. At least that way we'd be getting in some quality even if it is a rental.
  20. Only saw the second the half but again the theme is that we have not been consistent. Yes, I am glad about the three points but I think we have to wake up and realize we are not going to get anyone coming in who is like Naisy. I mean the guy is at least a 5million pound player, so I am afraid that we are going to the rest of the season with this squad. If we do get someone in then it's gonna be a squad player not a 5mil player who can control a game. Even to get a loan of an established player doesn't seem to be something we are into either. Obviously is we lose Jela then things change but at the moment fellas I think we need to realize that if we do bring someone in there are not gonna be game changers.
  21. I'd go with this line-up: Alexander McMillan Bartley Weir Wallace Aluko Edu McKay Wylde Fleck Healy Bench: Bedoya, Hutton(I think he's back for thistle), Goian, Kerkar, Jela, Shagger What u's think?
  22. Sorry Everyone!!! I thought I was putting this in the suggestion thread!!! Dumbass!! If someone can move it for me it would be great, especially before everyone starts to rip me a new one! Haha
  23. Hey Fellas, Just a suggestion, here goes: First of all, I would prefer we kept Jela but if we need to sell him and we were to get 7-8million, do you think we'd be okay if we signed Sandaza and Boyd and say spent 3 million on an attacking CM/play maker? I know things will be different next year with Naisy back and even with a hopefully fit Laff but overall would we be better? It would also put 4mil or so in the banks?
  24. I think in the case of Rangers football Club (actually this goes for most things really) When a group of people are part of something, they will always have their own individual ideas of how things should run/done. Having a diverse support is what makes us so great and the many different ideas/views/beliefs that we share only make us better. The key is that every supporter at the end of the day only wants the best of RFC. As long as people are for the most part positive and supportive then I think we are in a good place. My pet peeves are the people who are either negative all the time AND those that are positive all the time! (Some times facts need to be pointed out and some think by doing that you are negative.). Again, just my wee bit!
  25. I am actually pretty surprised by so many people saying they don't care. I live in Canada and have done for the last 20 years (I am only 30). Even now I am still pissed when Scotland loses. I'll agree that it's not to the extent of how I feel if the Gers don't perform but I would love to see Scotland progress to a major tournament. Maybe people are just expecting that we are going to be crap and maybe that is why interest is low. It has for a long time been the same old shite with the Scotland team!
