Train from valencia nord at 8.00am on day of game . .last train back is around 9pm but with it being an early kick off its a doddle .
Fare is €9.65 return.(£7.50 ish)

I dont really know anything about either team but id rather play Progress as they will feel under pressure to beat us and we usually take advantage of that. Also we're a much better team than last time we played them and id like to see us redeem ourselves. Hacked off I cannot go to Osijek,work commitments,too close to Skopje game (where I spent 5 days away)
Pain in the arse just getting to these places ...even Maribor last time was a doddle,but its not so easy now.
I am in the East midlands so travel from Glasgow/Edinburgh not really an option.
I have full travel club points too.(8).
Oh well.

You will need your passport for any border crossing checks(Greece and Macedonia are seperate countries....Greece is EU, MACEDONIA is not.....also they are checking tickets AND passports at 3 checkpoints approaching the stadium, take euros and change to local currency MKD when you get there.

Couple of tips for those travelling to next weeks away leg....
You must register with the local police in the town/city where you are staying within 24 hours of your arrival in Macedonia, unless you are in a hotel in which case you will be registered automatically on checking-in.(make sure they do this....or its a hefty fine)
If you don’t register you may receive a fine of between 600 and 1,000 Euros, and be detained or face a court appearance (which may include a restriction on your ability to return to Macedonia).
YOU CANNOT EXCHANGE SCOTTISH OR NORTHERN IRISH BANKNOTES OVER THERE ,they will not accept them in banks,hotels, restaurants currency exchanges.
Take your EHIC CARD with you (E111)....there is a reciprocal agreement in place with Macedonia for emergencies/
heath treatment.
Take euros or us dollars in small denominations to exchange for MKD (Macedonian Denar)over there.
Enjoy the trip guys,I will be there from Saturday afternoon.
Staying at the IBIS city centre.
Look out for the NORTH DERBYSHIRE LOYAL flag and come and say hello,hello. and have a beer.

Take euros mate....in small denominations 5s,10s,20s....
change to Macedonian denars over there.
A lot of places will accept euros or even US Dollars.
