  1. Doubt any clauses like that exist. If Ajax come in though, I will pay their flights.

nah mate. it is a contract that means obligations on both parties. the lawyers would not let RFC be tied into such a one way deal, even ours. if for any reason ally wanted out, then rangers would be due compo of some sort. it is a legally binding agreement.

can i ask how do u know about the workings of ally contract?

  2. He is due £1.5m if he is pushed. A rolling contract with managers is one year from each passing day

so if ajax decide that total footie was out and lumping the ball to big strikers was in and wanted ally as their manager, what would rangers get ?? £1.5m? from ally that is?
  3. McCall is seemingly on £80k. McInnes I would imagine would be £100-£150k although might have went up.

To answer your other point, it was Baldy Bain that rewarded his good pal with such a contract before he went.

we absolutely certain about the nature of that contract?? it does not fit with the standard definition of a rolling contract. no advantage to rangers as far as i can see. even for bain, thexe terms are ridiculous.
  4. anyone know what sort of money mcinness is on at abergreen?? How much would we expect to pay Billy davies?

think the first thing that needs done is ally notified that years period of notice starts now.

the club then need to make a statement that this has been done and they will be looking for a new management team to start in six months time. as soon as notice period served, RFC liability starts to reduce. still cannot believe anyone agreed to that.

  5. A rolling contract ensures he is continuously on a year contract from every new day. He is due a years salary, plus hat he "negotiated" into his "pay cut". It will cost us £1.5m for him to oust him from our financial wreckage of a club. Plus he has his penny shares. At least he is a Real Rangers man eh, not like those pesky spivs.

aw jeeze. so what we are really saying is he has a year long notice period that he can expect payment for if the club decide to say tatty bye?? that is the effect. massive salary and a year long notice period. who the hell agreed to that!
  6. Don't tell me, you also heard that big jock didn't know? Away ye go and boil yer heed shifty eyes blootered baws or whatever yer called

i should also add for the avoidance of doubt that my opinion is that big jock was fully aware of the facts.
  7. I think we are Roy ally fucked and we lumbered with good for nothing Manager for yet another unforgettable season .We are in such a Godforsaken mess it makes you weep .

thinking about it, the most we would need to pay ally is one year cause heis on a yearly rolling contract. sooooooo, logical question is when was his contract renewed? when did he take the salary cut?? oct? it may not be that big a number, recoverable through hiring a cheaper but better manager.
  8. guys

i am only reporting what i heard. okay?

my source is intermediate but one i trust in that i have known him for twnty years and he is a strong bluenose. the rumour re admin is that the board are serious about it if the dave king trust goes ahead. still thinking about this myself. what reasons etc.

the ultimate source i am informed was someone at corp hospitaily.

i guess we will know soon. if the first bit re ally turns out true then a chance the second bit could be as well?

    dont shoot the messenger eh?

  9. Had he not been hounded out of Ibrox (tin hat on) i believe we would be under better guidance and may not have needed the loan we took, guessing time will tell but Charlie had my backing, said it how it was and was never affraid to stick up for us....oh and fought to keep our history intact...as it should be.

Ps, never lied about being in it for the profit either.

mirrors my view. i am comfortable with personal profit as a motive if open about it and said profit tied to results.when cg was pushed i felt we as a support were being influenced and ignoring the real issues. i bet a few people at another club were glad when he left.
  10. It really pissed me off because before they came to us they were better players than united but a season or two guided by clueless management have left them shadows of their former self's, I really do believe a new manager will be able to turn it around.

this in a nutshell for me.
  11. Get rid of:-

    Coisty

    Durrant

    Kenny

    Simonsen

    Foster

    McCulloch

    Smith

    Black

    Daly

    Shiels

    Faure

    Cribari

    Hutton

    Perry

    Heggarty

    Little

Consider getting rid of law and mohsni if they don't screw the nut!!!

Bring in competent manager with decent scouting/youth policy!!!!

Don't take fans for fucking granted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Watp!!!!!

think tbh, we need a fresh pair of eyes to asses for each player, their fitness, best position, skill level etc and whether they can be moulded under a formation the new manager is happy to put his name to. then decide who gets offloaded mate.
  12. bears

just my tuppenceworth but were these guys piss poor before they joined us?

    i would say no.

have they gone backwards since they joined us?

    I would say yes

    enuff said.

we KNOW the footie management side is dysfunctional. that is the first thing to fix. to not do that risk pouring good money after bad.

  13. I fucking third that! Been saying it for long enough.

Ally fucked up from day one. Got us lobbed out of Europe and that was the minute that charlatan Whyte caused us to implode - no Euro money, no bills paid. He then sat and fiddled as he say a massive points turnaround as performances plumpeted as they have every season since as the season has gone on. That shower of cunts in the east end had turned the points round BEFORE the administration.

McCoist has got away with it for 3 years. No more please.

I fourth it. We were going great until Naismisth got crocked. Ally could not change things to make up for the loss of one man. What does that tell you?
  14. Ok. My take on this is as follows:

I dont think you can absolve Ally of all blame. If the board has resisted him and he had gone to support, who would we have backed given we were so sensitive after all we had been through?

I would expect any football manager, when building a team, to take into account the sort of revenues the club has, the level of opposition and the try to field a team to deal with that at a reasonable cost.

Can we honestly say we have had performances worthy of second or third highest wages in the country?

I think not. I think we have paid a premium for having Ally as manager. It hurts but there you have it.

God knows what we will need to spent to ensure we win next years competition with Ally.

  15. We would still win that league, maybe not by the same margin but we would win it easily.

I admire your faith mate but not in this bears view we wont. I know other bears who admitted before sunday that Ally would not cut it in the Premiership but "would defo get us through the championship".

Rangers for me are far too important to put one man before the club. How much money do you think Ally will need to win the championship?

Would the present team do it? I think they would but only with a different manager.
