  1. I'm not sure that is true, they may have paid him off for other reason's, they can basically say that they are not happy with the way the youth set up is run.

It makes no difference if they are given him what he is entitled to in his contract, they could replace him with someone on a much lower salary.

    Who is sinclairs boss???

If sinclair doing crap then his boss must get some of the flak as well. Is it ally?

  2. I'm not ignoring anything.

If he doesn't want to do this anymore then McCoist could have prevented this by doing the right thing and resigning without a pay off. I'm completely aware of that fact.

To counteract what happened the board could have shown some spine and said if you want to go then you are going now and then they simple place him on gardening leave until they could negotiate a settlement to allow him to leave immediately, they didn't do that.

It's just another incident where people are basically playing a real life game of thrones with our club and we are the ones who have to suffer through it. I'm sick to death of it.

and gardening leave may yet happen. Who to pit in charge for last night if not mccoist? Mccoist landed the board with this tho. Ffs they may be going performance management route if mccoist has any responsibility for youth system he just blasted im the papers. May ne lawyers involved. Hate to say it but even strachan behaved better. Walked without compo.
  3. Was this the real reason for his resignation? He came out and said that we would not have won the 3rd division with youngster and that they were not good enough to take us forward.

My reaction to that would have been that the youth set up was not fulfilling its role and that changes needed to be made. Maybe that indeed was said and this change was unacceptable to Ally.

yup. Someone playing the old "divide and conquer". Ally cannot have it both ways.
  4. Once it became clear that he had offered his resignation his position basically became untenable.

To events yesterday - he's gone, he's going, he's not on the team bus, he's first off the team bus, will be be at the game tonight, those interviews where you seen a broken man right in front of your eyes - they simply shouldn't have been allowed to happen.

This is far more complex than a simple case of someone is putting in their notice and they will be leaving when their contract is up and everybody knows it. Somebody should have taken leadership told him to stay away from the game last night and put him on gardening leave until such a time came that everybody could either sit down round the table and negotiate a severance package or they came to some agreement that seen the offer to resign withdrawn.

We are Rangers Football Club not fucking cirque de soleil. What happened yesterday was an absolute farce and simply should never have been allowed to happen. Sadly that's a sentence that people are having to coin for too often now.

u are putting the blame at the boards door I think. Ally is the problem here. Not the board. His position is not untenable because he resigned. He is complying with his contract. Nothing untenable about that. The board position will be clear. He has a year to work and burn down his severence entitlement. He will keep doing a crap job until the fans hate him and he is desperate to go sooner. U ignore the fact that ALLY IS BEHIND ALL OF THIS.
  5. Then they are fucking shitebags too.

To allow this to ramble on all weekend is just another in a long line of incidents that should be embarrassing but aren't anymore because they happen so regularly.

why should the board say anything about a member of staffs contractual situation?? Ally will be free to divilge tho
  6. Another thing. As a professional manager who takes the responsibility seriously, I find it disgisting to stand on national tv blaming the player without specifics about what went wrong. Why is the midfield not performing? Why the long balls? Dont try to defend him. Just thinking. Ally. Is that u?

  7. Mate ,that's not really answering the the question , although did Ally also teach them the art of attempting to shoot from 20/25 yards out , getting the ball 5/10 yards over the bar . anyway , should the team be sending out an apology to the management team and the fans for their recent bad performances and handing some ,if not all of their wages back

it is answering the question. Why should they apologize for doing what their manager tells them and following the managers training regime???
  8. Should they be releasing a statement on recent performances(if allowed) and should they be accepting as much blame as Ally has , should they also be giving back some of their wages ,?

no mccoist is responsible for picking them training them tactics etc. He must tolerate the long ball.end of
  9. He's was a striker and he scored goals, that was his job and he was good at it, but he didn't do it on his own.

Just because he scored the goals does that make the Coopers or Baxters, or any of the other great players less unique?

just wait. We will have people shouting for boyd to be out manager. He scored all them goals u know.
  10. This needs to stop or our Club will self destruct I'm not kidding.

This lot on BBC and the DR ate saying he has put his notice in because of the way the Club is being run.

Total politics from McCoist and nothing to do with football.

Fucking joke football management we have.

just a thought but are the politics all ally own work or is someone advising him do u thing?? He was a wonderful player but his commitment was always suss and I am not sure he has the skills to be a great politician. He is not a motivator for starters.
  11. Thru their silence, the bored are effectively forcing mccoist to justify why he is clinging on. The only leverage the board have is ally public profile and cheeky chappie image. Media presence etc. I think they are letting that be eroded so it is better for ally to walk now as well. Rather than be seen as a money grabber.

  12. Fair enough but none of us know what's really going, all theories and speculation at this moment in time which is fucking sickening.

not true. I know exactly what is going on. There is now a negotiation between the board and ally. They are negotiating in public however THRU THE MEDIA AND BOTH PARTIES TRYING TO INFLUENCE THE SUPPORT TO THEIR CAUSE. silence from ally tells a bigger story than silence from the bored. Ally can walk unilaterally. He has that power. Our bored cannot act without losing money we do not have.u have to recognize that.
  13. He might have been put under a NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) by someone, after all we still don't know who told the media he handed his resignation in.

Supposedly hands his notice in then after the game says he hopes to be here for the foreseeable future, something doesn't add up.

nah crap mate. I doubht there is an nda that is enforceable that stops him saying either "i cant do this. For the good of MY club I am standing aside" or "i cant do this job but I want a good severence package bears so u are stuck with me", whichever is applicable.
  14. Suspect we have heard nothing from the board as they dont want to act in haste, repent at leisure. They will know the game ally is playing. Morally ally is indefensible. Big patouts for failure ffs. Esp considering how much he has blown. Only thing the bored can be blamed for is not giving ally his notice at least six months ago.

  15. It patently isn't, because the problem at the moment with our club is that it is impossible to nail down now attendance to any specific factor. We are so messed up all over.

no offence nut this sounds like deflection. People around me that were attending as little as two weeks ago are now staying away. I know these people and ally is the reason.
