From the ET celtic fans dumped an astonishing 12 tonnes of rubbish on one of Madrid's main squares, ahead of their Champions League defeat in Spain. Thousands of Hoops fans descended on the Spanish capital ahead of this week's 5-1 hammering by the European champions at the Bernabeu. Many fans gathered at Madrid's Plaza Mayor ahead of the game and the incredible amount of litter left has now been confirmed by the Spanish authorities. Madrid City Council's Urgent Cleaning Service stated: "We collected a total of 12 tonnes of waste from Plaza Mayor after the visit from fans of celtic." And Madrid's council's Security and Emergencies spokesman Inmaculada Sanz revealed they will consider banning fans from the area because of the mess created. He said: "We had a joint collaboration with the police for the visit of celtic supporters as we do for all high-risk games. "In the future, we will meet with residents in the area so this can't happen again. The people who live here are not happy. "It's something we need to look at for the next high-risk game.
