  1. Messi is going nowhere, he's got a ton of buyout clauses. Only Man City could afford him and would be breaching the FFP rules, in fact, not just breaching them, would be shitting all over them. I have a feeling Messi may move on at the end of his contract, or Bara would maybe be prepared to let him go for as a little as 100m if say, he only has 14 months left to run and made clear he's no resigning. If he does move, it will be out of Spain, wee man doesny like paying tax and getting hauled into court with his father.
  2. I'd maybe suggest your violent tendencies could be linked to your bad parenting, which is why your daughter would be getting smashed on drink, shots, weed and cocaine and willingly going back to premier inns for 1 night stands and pishing the bed.
  3. Cowboys will beat the Packers. With a fully fit Rodgers i still think it's a fairly tight game given how Romo/DeMMurray/Bryant/Beasley have all been putting points on the scoreboard lately, but watching GBP vs the Lions Rodgers broke out of the pocket with the end zone in sight and crumpled after a 3 yard sprint. I think they'll risk him, but he's one sack away from being out the game and he knows it.
  4. I hope Evans finds a new club, I've read a fair bit about the case and don't believe he should have been found guilty or gone to jail. that been said, even if he had been found 'not guilty' I still wouldn't want him here. Even though I don't believe what he did to be illegal, the guy is trash. He showed up to that hotel because his mate had pulled. He went there to get in on the action, lied his way into the room convincing the porter to give him a key card - brought 2 of his mates to film it through a window, then snuck away out the fire exit like a rat afterwards. Rangers is more than just a football club, I expect a certain standard - I expect our players to be of a certain standing. I hate seeing cunts like Ian Black dawn our Jersey, I certainly wouldn't like to see Ched Evans in one either.
  5. Perhaps, but he's spent a few years behind bars for what many people believe wasn't even a crime. I'm sure prison had the desired effect, i bet it's taught this deviant that showing up to a hotel room in the dead of night to pump a drunk burd with yer pals isn't an acceptable way to behave and hopefully made many other teenagers/men realise the same thing. It's doen with now, his punishment outweighed the "crime" if there was one, let him kick a baw about, that's his profession.
  6. Last season Boyd was the 2nd top scorer & the top scoring striker in the SPL, or whatever they call it now. Only Kris Commons bagged more goals than Boyd. That placed Boyd, of the 3rd bottom Kilmarnock ahead of the likes of the inbred Stokes, Mackay-Steven of DUtd, McGinn for Aberdeen etc. Like pretty much every other signing since the McCoist era, Boyd has regressed since coming to us. This guy should be doing nothing but sticking the ball in the net from a wealth of chances created for him. But, we're not a team capable of playing any sort of football since ppointing McCoist as manager. The problem isn't Boyd, it'sour toxic mangement/coaching staff, which hopefully will be completely cleared out once and for all. You stick Boyd as the target man in a 4-2-3-1 with 10-men behind him worthy of our shirt he'll average nearly a goal a game in this league.
  7. Yes, Mike Tyson is a true sporting great, I would like to have his autograph.
  8. anyone who uses the "role model" argument is a fucking idiot and shouldn't be allowed to raise children. "Look son, that man is knocking an air filled sphere between 2 white sticks, you should strive to be like him regardless of whatever personality, morals and religious beliefs he may or may not have".
  9. Disgusting. Should be up to the clubs. Fuck the sponsors, if our society had any backbone then we there would be a counter-mob rule not to eat Nandos, or whatever other fucking sponsor who places themselves as some kind of higher moral standing than the business they sponsor. That been said, I wouldn't want Ched Evans playing for the Rangers, even if he was found not guilty, but like I said, should be up to the clubs, not Rupert Murdoch and his puppet army.
  10. Exactly why it was total guess work. Mcdonald claimed she gave consent to both himself & Evans Evans claimed she gave consent, even asked him to perform oral sex on her. Victim claims she couldn't remember a thing; was hammered as proven by CCTV & tested positive for cocaine and marijuana. When you find someone guilty, you do so beyond reasonable doubt. How can anyone claim going by the above facts of the case that Evans acted without consent, beyond all reasonable doubt? The jury have actually sent a message that if a girl hammered out of her face goes to a hotel with you then do what you like, that's the standard for "consent". Both these guys are deviants to be honest, McDonald just acted with a fair bit more decorum than Evans did - but if what they did was "rape" then tens of thousands of girls are raped in major UK cities every weekend.
  11. Well the jury is wrong, and it should have been thrown out or overturned after appeal. They were either both guilty, or both innocent.
  12. there's a ridiculous lack of talent in UK football commentary and punditry. Andy Gray was about the only guy worth his salt but he told a slightly sexist joke once.
  13. As much as i'd love to see the Cowboys make it to the Superbowl, I think we're heading for a rematch of Broncos vs Seahawks in the SB. Haven't looked at the odds but i'd imagine perhaps the Patriots are favourites?
  14. Ofcourse it was a stab, they had nothing else to go on. They got back to the hotel at 4.15 with the 'victim' claiming she could not remember anything after 3. The case is farcical, I can't believe the verdict was allowed to stand or wasn't thrown out on appeal.
  15. The women admit she couldn't remember a single thing. So the Jury just took a stab that she consented to Cleyton MacDonald but not Ched Evans?
  16. All it's editors are Celtic fans. A "hotel" in Cumbernauld? I think there's a premier inn next to a Burger King?
  17. Indeed. I wasn't happy about a Rangers manager being appointed who had never in his life managed 1 game of football. This would be the same scenario in that aspect, but, it's a controleld gamble based upon pedigree. This guy has some, he's rated, his career is going strength to strength. McCoist's pedigree was being a Rangers legend as a player, not as a rated coach. He played 2nd fiddle to Walter? Was it an apprenticeship? Was the idea to emulate Walters style of management & football? Or was it to bring his own ideas to the table? If so, wasn't his apprenticeship under Walter a waste of time only to try new methods and techniques anyway? The appointment of McCoist was a mess from top to bottom.
  18. He's not been burying the chances, which is what he's here to do. But, he must b averaging about 1 chance per game. If we played free-flowing football and carved out a couple of clear cut chances for him per game he'd start banging them in.
