  1. The bottom line on McCoist is this. The majority of our fans are your average working class punter. Taxi Drivers, Office Workers, Labour Workers, etc, as is with most football fans. Sure, i'm pretty certain that we've our upper & middle class fanbases too. But never-the-less, our fans work damn hard to afford their season books, or one-ff tickets at £15+ a pop to watch this utter shite. They working damn hard to buy their kids strips and merchandise for xmas. They work their arses off for a few hundred quid a week and spend it going to see the Rangers. And while it equally infuriates me the likes of Stockbridge get their grubby thieving hands on that hard-earned money, we all know he's nothing but a spiv anyway. McCoist, a supposed Rangers man, is sitting on his fat greedy arse at the moment, knowing full well we can't steer the shipwreck he left because the money we need for a manager is being paid to him on his "gardening leave". Green, Stockbridge, Whyte, etc... they were spivs and charlatans but we all knew it from the start. McCoist is no better, he's just a wolf in sheeps clothing, or spiv in a Rangers tie. If he cared about the club or had a lick of integrity he'd forfiet his throughly undeserved massive salary at this point and let us move on.
  2. Go make a post about how much McCoist loves the club, and puts us ahead of his wallet, and see how many you get
  3. Maybe at home if we get a manager in who can get the best out of the likes of Templeton & those 5 Newcastle lads are any good. If we're still managerless then no, i'd be happy to even beat Raith.
  4. He should be chased out of the club. An absolute embarrassment to our badge. Go sign for Celtic Reserves or something Foster you cunt.
  5. Indeed, what we really need to is to haul ourselves into a title race. Hearts winning the league at a canter is the a gut wrencher really. If we can get ourselves in touching distance with a handful of games left it really will be game on and i think our crowds and attendances will have a renewed lease of life, I actually like the idea of a genuine title race again.
  6. Even still getting promotion is a big ask. 16 pts behind with 2 games in hand. win them both, that's 10 points. We still need to play Hearts twice. Win them both, that's 4 points. If we want to win the league, we're really looking at a scenario where we win pretty much every single game from now til the end of the season... without a manager no less. 5 Kids from Newcastle isn't enough to get that kind of result given the state we're in. We're really looking at play-offs which is no given. Essentially a mini-cup that will involve a Hibs team that seems to have turned it round and if we make the "final" it will be an SPL team who finished 2nd bottom. This is probably the more realistic option and we would be favourites to win a play-off mini-tournament, but it's certainly no given.
  7. It's not, but, I understand McCoist still has a loyal fanbase. But glad to see the majority of the posters in this thread seem to see him for what he is.
  8. I agree with you, but, those incidents go hand-in-hand. Many including the authorities in this country, the songs & banners are the foreplay to the bottling and head stamping.
  9. Celtic just spue hatred everywhere they go. Plenty of recent examples, Motherwell ripping up the seats and scrawling sectarian messages. Same with Hearts, the ira song-book, graffiti of the ibrox disaster. Infuriated the Aberdeen crowd by failing to keep silent during the Rememberence silence in November. Celtic really are a unique club.in Britain. In the world perhaps. The only club i can think of whose identity is built around both an segregated community (even with their own school system no less) and a foreign Republican movement (against their current country of both residence and birth no less), which we know for the most part consists of recognised terrorist groups that are sectarian in nature. I'll be honest, hearing our fans respond with songs of ulster and so on doesn't sit right with me - i know many will disagree and i understand we take a large portion of our support from Ulster, but I see Rangers as being the club born in the same area of Glasgow my family is from, by 4 young lads. Singing the likes of Build my Gallows, although a great atmosphere builder, just feels like being the Ying to their Yang, or the good to their evil - and has no relevance to me at all as a Glaswegian football fan. The 1 thing i can agree with them on is hating the term "old firm", i hate that a club with the prestige and standing such as ours has ended up being lumped in with them, because we were the unlucky ones who ended up with them on our our doorstep. They brought bigotry, hatred and a version of The Troubles to Scotland. I often wonder what it would be like if Celtic landed in another city, like Liverpool or something. How would the English react to them, would they put up with what we had to put up with? Would they have tossed them out of the FA during the war or during the troubles? If i remember correctly Hibs moved to have them thrown out of the Scottish FA for flying a tricolour during the war or troubles? Sound familiar to any of the older bears? People say they missed the rivalry, well, i guess in the build up to Sunday i did, the only feeling better than going into 1 of them is the feeling of beating that shower, but looking at the news headlines of the young laddie who got bottled or the father who got his head stamped on, I think i'd happily lose the excitement of the rivalry to see them wiped from history & existence all together.
  10. Exactly. A rookie manager who loves the club but demands 800k a year + bonuses to go along with his stock of penny shares (multiplying his money by what, up to 72x at one point?). Maybe we could have afforded to hire a few scouts if the greedy fucking pig wasn't leaching us for every penny.
  11. I have a loathsome list and there's plenty people on it above and beyond McCoist. But I spoke plenty of them and will do so again in the Boardroom section. As for matters on the field, McCoist isn't a Rangers man. Neither was McGregor, Naismith, Whittaker, Lafferty, Davis, etc. McCoist can join them, what he is currently doing is sickening, he's got us hamstrung, stuck in limbo, and he knows it. Just another charlatan who's own pocket comes 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th ahead of whatever "loyalty" he claims he may have for Rangers Football Club.
  12. To be fair to Fraser Aird, he looked like the only 1 that was actually fired up on Sunday. I'm rooting for the wee man, i'd love to get half decent coach in to see if they could make a player out of him. It's beyond alarming how much even Kris Boyd has regressed from Kilmarnock last season, never mind what Murray Park is doing to the likes of Aird & Templeton.
  13. 'm not really sure what the point is you're making but i presume it's something along the lines of the fans such as I and others in this thread shouldn't be aiming venom at the likes of McCoist? If so, the reasons are well set out in my post. He's a money grabbing charlatan out to get his hands on every penny he can get, he's sold his own integrity. Maybe the rich history and traditions of this club have set too high a standard for the shite we get these days. Look at the man in my photograph. Think of the name Bill Struth. We deserve much, much better than Ally the wage thief. If he just held his hands up and said he couldn't cut it as manager and walked away without his gross, disgusting salary he'd still have plenty of respect for the man.
  14. The original post wasn't about Kenny. Maybe calling him a Celtic-man is unfair, he strikes me as the kind of guy that isn't really fussed about having leanings to any team, and is just doing his job, his 40-hours a week and off home. Never-the-less, after 10 years at Celtic it's scandalous we brought him here. I don't particular want any more of tired "old pals act" at ibrox, but i certainly don't want to be poaching any players or staff from those scum, ever.
  15. Because it could potentially cost us a place in Europe, therefore co-efficient points for the SFA. I hatet he SFA but the rule is the correct one, we can;t have these billionaires putting together "portfolios" like clubs are property.
  16. the situation is a fucking shambles. If anything we might end up on some kind of SFA charge. 5 loanees from Newcastle? It's so blatant there isn't even an ounce of trying to hide the dual-ownership conflict of interest. 5 loan signings like today's are exactly why the rules are in place to prevent dual ownership. All he's doing is worming his way in, tightening his grip with only 9% "official" ownership. If he didn't own Newcastle, i'd take Ashley as full owner in a heartbeat, but while he owns Newcastle, the current situation is just a complete and utter shambles.
  17. Yes, i'm telling you I wouldn't take a single penny nor a cheque for ten million from them, utter dregs of society.
  18. Exactly, I'm not mad on Kenny Miller either but lets be honest, he's no Rangers man at heart, he's a typical football mercenary. McDowall... maybe he's not a "celtic man" maybe he's just a professional who takes his career with no personal interest beyond it being just a job. But I can't fathom how can you dawn that badge and work at that club for 10 years and not come out smelling of a sewer. Never should have been brought in, in the first place. Get him to fuck.
  19. Not on your life. What does he have, 5 kids? Don't get me wrong, i know family comes first, and he's taking every penny he can get for their sake. I don't mind money being earned. He's a thief and charlatan. His estate >>>> Rangers Football Club.
  20. It pains me to say it for a guy who I always believed bled this club, but he should be thoroughly ashamed of himself. Watching his team yesterday it literally turns my stomach. 3 years to rebuild and we end up with imposters like Black, Simonsen and Foster? 3 years to rebuild, to breed youth, to build the foundations of a team, and instead end up with spineless jokers who can't mark a man from a throw in or mustur up a solitary shot on target. Who can't beat a man or deliver a single ball into the box, not from a set piece, not from open play. A team that has seen promising signings like Templeton regress to a shadow of what he was, from Scoring against Liverpool in European ties to being wasted to the point he can't get in the team ahead of... well... take your pick of yesterday's 11. But what disgusts me beyond that, is that yesterday, we went into a game against the scum, hamstrung by McCoist to the point we can't get a replacement in to at least move on from his shipwreck. We now have the spineless, gutless, fellow 12-month-notice Celtic-man Kenny McDowell taking "charge" (if you want to call it that). This was Ally's team, and it was his lambs to the slaughter, lambs that can't even be given direction by a replacement because McCoist is stealing whatever funds we have left to sit about on his arse watching the catastrophe he left behind. A real Ranger my arse. I called Naismith, McGregor, Whittaker, Davis the Men who Stole from the Rangers when they bailed out to pick-up sign-on fees by costing the club their transfer value, well McCoist can join them in my opinion. Was your thoroughly undeserved 800k + bonuses not enough for you? Are those penny shares not of high enough value you Charlatan? McCosit when he wanted to do could talk a good game, he spoke passionately about a true Ranger not so long ago. If he happens to ever pop his head in on here, ask yourself this McCoist, would this true Rangers man be sucking every penny he could from the club like you are, while sitting on his arse having left us in the state you did?
  21. I guess it's how you weigh things up. People may look at what you've won as being the beacon. Others may just look at talent/ability. For others maybe it's a mix of both. Personally speaking i think Aaron Rodgers is a better QB than Brady.
