I think its fair to say i preferrred Jimmy Calderwood, but Warburton is a good choice. He did a good job at Brentford and deserves a chance to build on that. I only hope he gets plenty of dough to spend in the transfer market.

Davie Weir fucked up once in management. Most successful managers fuck up at a club in their careers. He has a better track record at being an Assistant Manager so if he arrives, what's th eproblem? As for taking on Cathro - it's a chance, but why not? Walter Smith was promoted from Assistant to Manager; sometimes it works brilliantly, sometimes it doesn't. Warburton would be a better choice overall though - he will know more players and the level of transfer market we are looking at.

Sandaza quite simply could not be arsed playing for Rangers and saw us as easy money. The top tier of Scottish football is slated enough as it is, and we all expected the players McCoist signed when we were in the bottom tier to be motivated? They came for the cash - pure and simple. Some players like Black & Kyke probably came in for the chance to play for us as they know that would be the only chance they would ever have under the circumstances. Yet we all sat there expecting them to be playing for the jersey each week and gradually they were found out. Does McCoist deserve the blame? He is a shite coach but a legend of a player so we should leave it at that. The club should have invested in youth and employed a manager that knew the lower leagues better whilst adding some experienced players in for good measure. Less money spent, more progressive youth policy and less embarrassment like players getting conned by Tommy the fuckin taxi driver. However we have the chance to rebuild again and currently a stone throw away from the Premiership - however unless some serious decisions are made, the club will struggle after promotion.
