I think by that point it was obvious he wanted to leave and he couldn't really stay at hibs. Not trying to defend Scott Allan here, no real Rangers fan would play for Celtic imo but I don't think it was a case of he chose them over us like you made it sound.

The only extra body would be the DoF really. With or without a DoF, we'd be getting a manager/head coach and his coaching team (1st team coach/assistant) and we'd also need a new head of recruitment to replace FMcP.

I think it would do his career more harm than good to come here right now. I'm not sure anyone could be very successful with this squad and lack of funds. Maybe MORE successful than Warburton but not what we're demanding. Also not trying to be one of those "in the know" cunts but I live in the same village as him and my Mrs talks to his wife occasionally and she's dead against him taking the job apparently. Says it's not worth the trouble for the kids at school etc. Maybe he doesn't care what his wife thinks though ? Personally I've never spoken to the man.
