  1. Inexperience there. Got to cut across Carter-Vickers once you've beat him.
  2. They look well off it since our game. Just got to hope they end up dropping points. That Rocky bloke is an absolute disaster 😂
  3. Have to target Starfelt with Alfie. He gets so close to his man every time it's unreal.
  4. No tie is easy at this stage but it's one that gives us a massive chance of a spot in the Quarter Finals.
  5. Very clever moving him to centre back. The modern 3 at the back tend to have the more attack minded centre half (usually a full back converted) but think Lundstram is perfect for it. He may make mistakes at times but I like that he is confident on the ball and willing to do the right things with it. Drives me nuts when we chip the ball clear for fear of losing it. That first half, every dink clear was coming right back at us. Second half, the players believed in themselves and each other on the ball and Dortmund were chasing shadows.
  6. Said this before. BT usually gives us and them one of two commentators. The lad last night and the boring Rob McLean. I've heard they both support the other side but that Rory Hamilton seems to at least treat it like it's his professional job. Adds to the atmosphere massively I feel. That second goal in the highlights is mental, the roof nearly comes off. I think that beat the roar Helander's goal against them. Crowd were sensational.
  7. Their fans on Twitter backing the lineup saying that the league is more important Gone from telling us they'll win it to they don't care about it.
  8. This Ange must love the sound of his own voice. When I read the football articles during the day it's usually something he's said where he has just waffled on for ages about nothing. See today's one was that they won't train on the artificial pitch as it makes 0 difference. They aren't going to train on it and then instantly have the key to win the match so it's pointless. Now, I'm not saying you would automatically win the match by training on their pitch but surely it does help considering you are going to be playing on it the following evening?
  9. This was my main point. McGregor is probably still the better shot stopper but McLaughlin is a very good keeper regardless. For the benefit of what he gives us in starting attacks and taking the ball to feet, I just think it's worth putting him in now.
  10. A few of that lot were complaining about Maeda, doesn't look like he's anything special. Hatate had a good start but has already started to fall out of games. Jota isn't theirs. Abada stat pads but seems to frustrate their fans a lot more and Turnbull 😂
  11. Just for a few, I didn't post this just because we dropped points today. McGregor is the more talented keeper but I still think for what we face McLaughlin would do just as well. My main issue is McGregor punting the ball up the pitch constantly. McLaughin would have helped get through that high press I think.
  12. We'd have to finish 9th. Countries 10-15 see their runners up go into 2nd qualifying round. So we'd have to win 3 increasingly difficult ties to make it if we finished 2nd.
  13. Greggs is still the better of the two but I don't think the difference is massive. I just wonder with our build up play and possession if it's worth having McLaughlin in there instead. He's capable with the ball at his feet and often helps us launch an attack. McGregor is punting it long if an opposition player comes within 20 yards.
  14. It's simple anyway. 11 wins and we are champions.
  15. Their manager is doing the Lennon tactic in press conferences. Even when it's bad just say you created loads and should have won by a large margin. It's every game he says it and today is miles wide of the mark. They created one chance in second half. Obviously it doesn't matter when they win but I think if a team or two can hold them out the tide would change pretty quick. Wishful thinking at this stage but it's not beyond the realms. They really aren't great.
  16. Annoyingly VAR probably has us top today.

  18. This. Once or twice, that's what good teams do but they have been struggling for weeks now. Luck is getting them over the line at this point. We have to go on a run now and ramp up the pressure but I feel their intensity could actually start costing them. They look devoid of ideas going forward, all 3 goals come from just aimlessly drilling the ball in out wide. One the keeper has spilled and the big Greek guy shanked it in. Third goal has gone through keepers legs. I get people say it's happened too often but I think if we get our act together we win the league.
  19. Would have to see it again. It certainly hits Jota on the hand but not sure what the rules are exactly as it hit his head first.
  20. One way of looking at it. The other is the last few games they are only just getting over the line. Could easily start to turn.
  21. Looked like a handball in the celtic box in the last second. Ref says no and full time.
  22. 3 added on can guarantee that was 5-6 a few mins ago.
  23. I'm actually not as fussed as I was earlier. They'll drop points. They aren't great at all and haven't created much at all again today against the worst side in the league. They've got over the line again which is all they need but this luck will turn.
  24. That big Greek cunt never hits anything cleanly either. He's basically fallen into that and put it through keepers legs.
