  1. Just love the guy.

Can't wait to see him against the scum. No doubt he will be well targeted and will do their utmost to spark a reaction to get him red carded.

    We are coming!

Can't wait to see Haliday against them xD

If waggy does get red carded I hope it's because he gave one of 'em a "Mosni Special"

  2. Rangers owe McCoist nothing mate. We made him millions and gave him 4 years in a job that was too big for him and ruined us on a footballing level.

We got so much from him as a player but I am able to leave that in the past and reflect fondly on it which is the way it should be - not give him a free pass to ruin us on and off the park after that.

I won't ever defend McCoist on a manager level, like you said it was too big for him and did ruin us.

and what happened off the pitch during that time albeit it was dubious it was all within his right too.

  3. Ally signed the guy who bet against us though.

As corrupt as the board were at the time, they backed him to the hilt and allowed him to bring in all these overpaid hasbeens.

Like I said, he wasn't a manager at all. Should've done more research into players, especially ones that came from teams that pretty much hate us.

  4. I know but it's the principle of it for me.

He made that much an arse of the job I felt he had a cheek taking those wages every week.

He was obviously entitled by contract to pick the wages up but whether he had earned them is another matter.

He didn't earn a manager pay wage, not in the slightest. I'm not going to defend his managerial skills because there isn't really anything to defend.

Gardening leave itself seems like a cheeky thing but I think it's not something you can actually ask for it's more so something you're company puts you on to get you out the way.

Dave King got dogs abuse (and rightly so) at the time for slabbering the pish he did about that. Some of the other nuggets included him deserving to be back in the directors box because of his wee Maw or something and that the Rangers fans will appreciate how good a job he did .... King couldn't have crammed any more mind numbing intelligence insulting bullshit into one interview if he tried.

Rangers owe a lot to ally McCoist, he's a legend. our all time top goal scorer, winner of 2 golden boots (which only 10 other players in the world have done) and other accolades.

There is no denying that Ally was a credit to rangers as a player, as a manager however is a different story. That's why he was better as an assistant to Walter smith, there was a great balance there just like how there is a great balance between Warbuton and Weir.

and you gotta look at the hand Ally was dealt, I mean we had players betting against Rangers. Also I take it as you don't like Dave King then? xD

  5. It was settled quickly after he got another job lined up.

We tried 3 times to do a deal before then from when King and co took over and he refused.

Not that i'm making excuses for Ally but maybe those 3 times before he didn't have another job lined up?

But I can't find anything about the 3 times he refused. and everything Dave King says about the subject is fairly positive and that a agreement was reached quickly.

Kai is right, the minute there was another job on offer he couldn't wait to meet up and settle what he had to with us.

    Wasn't interested before then.

Isn't that to be expected though? If you are planning to leave a job then you set something up for yourself. That's what I done when I was working in a shop, I wasn't happy working there so before quitting I started to look for another stable job.

  6. We tried 3 times to get him in to make a deal when King and co took over. Each time he said no.

He then got a chance of alternative employment and all of a sudden he wanted to make a deal. Getting paid twice.

I was made aware that the deal had been settled with very quickly, so I apologize for any misinformation. The following is what I was going by

    > "Agreement was reached quickly during a meeting with Rangers chairman Dave King, who expressed his gratitude for the contribution Ally has made to the club both as a player and then manager."

Could you link me to where it says otherwise?

  7. So you would line up other employment and then go back to Rangers (after them trying to get you in 3 times previously to make a deal and decline) to squeeze that wee bit more cash we don't have out us then go happily to your next job? ... some Rangers man you are.

The problem with gardening leave is is you're not allowed to go get another job until your contract has been terminated.

    > an employee's suspension from work on full pay for the duration of a notice period, typically to prevent them from having any further influence on the organization or from accessing confidential information.

That's the proper definition of gardening leave there. So it's not exactly his own choice that he was getting paid, it was reported that Ally worked for half and nothing when he first came to manage the team. But Ally himself just isn't cut out for being a manager and that showed.

  8. TBF he didn't miss it, had the keeper not saved it it would've gone in. Had it skied it then yeah it's a miss.

Waggy has been great for us, but I think he needs work on his finish. He said himself there is chances he should've gotten. But still I can't complain about anything else, his determination and work ethics show. He is class !

  9. Liar

    This.

Money is money, and money can sure as hell talk.

Just like all those assholes giving Ally a hard time about going on gardening leave, he was entitled to and i'm pretty damn sure anyone who bitches about it would do the exact same thing as Ally did in his position.

  10. Ball did play well yesterday but where are we getting this 'more solid' shite from? We lost another goal yesterday from sloppy defending, the same thing as every other goal we've conceded this season. Schoolboy mistakes at the back. Wilson seems to have become an easy target for folk.

I'd agree with you if it wasn't from a set piece. And since it was a set piece, it isn't just RK and DB to blame, all the players knew their marks and should've tracked the ball better.

  11. I gotta say I think Kiernan and Ball as our back two is better than having Wilson with Kiernan, they seemed to have done a better job at defending.

On the subject of Kiernan I was pretty impressed with him yesterday and thought it played great.

What's your thoughts on it? Would you like to see Kiernan and Ball being our back two from now on?

  12. Bet andy is practicing that from now on. He seems the guy who would go over past mistake or misses and practice them so it doesnt happen again.

Also I think the drill itself speaks alot about Mr warburton and his training regime, simple but tough. Training doesn't have to be massively difficult it should offer a challenge which is what this drill showed.

  13. Bullard trying to pronounce Auchenhowie and a wee round up of the week...... :)

The presenter said about 3 members being away on international duty, Oduwa (England), Zelalem (USA) and Luca Gasparotto (Canada). Did she not mean Fraser Aird for the last one?

  14. "First thing said rattler will do,is deny he is one".

You and your heathen ways, get to fuck.

Haha get into the Bastard xD

For my family and I it's been great. Seeing the blue sea of ibrox bouncing and backing the team.

It still amazes me everytime I walk up the stairs and get the first view of the stadium, i alway think what a braw stadium!

Then theres the roar when we score ;D
