Not sure the goalies long punts up field were at 5'8 in height. He won all the Ariel duels, should have scored with another header. He was up on his own and ran our defenders ragged, won a lot of clever fouls as they were Nieve. They could read the game better, tackle better, position themselves better.The could be smarter. They could be stronger. Put it this way he is pish against other defenders in the league, leathal against ours. He is 33 year old aging striker, who isn't very good. Let him take it down then tackle him hard, he isn't running away from you.You know he will go down easily Dont barge into the back of him, you know he will jump into you, you know he will lead with the elbow or the arm. Alert the ref to these facts.if he is backing in hard step off quickly leave him on his arse. I have never played Centre back or have any knowledge of defending personally so all these things I have said might just be pish and McDonald is unplayable.

Kenny can be a super sub going forward, still has that strikers instinct. Krancjar can change games. Warburton can make brave subs -taking off Mckay. Wes and Tav have answered a lot.of critics already this season and long may it continue. We are Top of the League The weekend is still young plenty time to get Pished And We are the People

Also not to have a go at Mckay as he is a young boy and confidence is key for his position. Needs to keep his head up after being subbed and Its been a tough start to the top league for him, but today he was hiding and it was 100% right that he was taken off. Wallace looked a bit tired today to, not to many lung bursting runs down the left. Everyone needs to be firing on all Cylinders as there is competition for places, Mw needs to be brave and mix up the starting line up.

How can 5'8 macdonald win so many headers from long ball when we have 2 Centre Backs that are 6'1. Was really starting to piss me off. Yes he used his body, but be stronger, time it better. Wilson and Keirnan can not be our defensive partnership at the back, they both look for someone to take control all the time. Dannys saving grace is that he is left footed and can pass a bit. It's heart skipping stuff watching them at the back.

Also huge shout out to Wes! Been a few big saves already this season, and I am in no doubt it's gained us much needed points. 

Right it's really time for an attacking mid to start in the middle. We can't have 3CDMs playing in the team. For the 10th time it's just not a fluid front 3. It's two wingers and striker. They all don't interchange and they don't gamble when the ball on the other wing being crossed. Hopefully Garner will eat up these great balls from Tav, who incidently has had a great start to the season and really upped his game. Lot of people had doubts about his defending but he has been solid. At I want to see Holt at Attacking mid or Krancjar or windass or even Mckay if pushed. Then Rossiter and Barton cam sit. Hard to keep positive, when we are so toothless again. Teams simply defend the edge of the box, pack the midfield and we have no answers. But how can we play with 1 striker and 3CDMs, no one is making runs into the box, no one is shooting. The central Attacker doesn't stay central Possession no Penetration

I feel the fluid front three doesn't work and we need more of a presence centrally, teams will just camp on the edge of their box, we need to move them around and alternate our play. Think having a more physical Cf will give as another dimension and let our creative players interchange and have someone to bounce passes off and cross too.

Windass has looked very strong and direct, we need someone running in behind the central forward and the opposite winger getting in the box for crosses. If we find our scoring touch we will be unplayable. Times are good.

During the game you always see him, hitting himself and getting very frustrated with himself if something wasn't perfect. Think having Barton next to him today was a little bit if a Hinderence, feel they both wanted to do the same things. Boy looks a talent and can't wait to watch him develop with us

We need to calm down a little on here.There were positives in the game, and I do see the same issues haunting us from last season. This is a side that's just been promoted no longer will teams tire badly in the final 10 mins, they well-matched us for aggression and intensity. Yes we need to be more clinical and have someone occupying opposition Centre Half's. Yes we need a quick, no-nonsense Centre Half to stiffle quick counter attacks. I feel we don't have enough penetration and penalty box presence. Still maintain a Cf is what we need, Strong, good in the air and hold up the ball. Let's everyone push up together, rather than spin and try take on 4 defenders. Corners are a concern at both ends, a big Cf would help for both of those aspects. I have no Suggestions on a permanent signing for that position however maybe a loan for Abrahams, or push come to shove big Nade
