  1. He's no longer got a box on club deck.
  2. Agree but we knew how bad the rest were. We expected the new boys go be better. They aren't (Butland aside).
  3. I don't even know what formation they're playing. Sometimes it looks like a diamond Ludstram Cifuntes Wright Lammers Mattondo Dessers Other times it's like Cifuntes Lundstram Mattondo Lammers Wright Dessers But there is no rhyme or reason to It and no obvious advantage. Then when they went 5 at back I didn't know if Wright was playing left of a 3 in midfield or a inverted winger. Regardless its the same story of absolutely no movement from anyone off the ball. You'd think having fluid positions amd shape might cause some chaos and unpredictability but it does nothing.
  4. I've seen enough now of Dessers to say he is an absolute dud. What is he actually good at??
  5. Colak good enough if you want to play to his strengths. But I'd rather have a striker like prime Alfie who contributes more off the ball. Would take him over Dessers easy and what I've seen from Danilo so far. Sakala was lacking in composure, poor decision maker and lacked quality. But he gave 100%, caused chaos and got good numbers. I'd have him over Sima, and, Mattondo. Hagi was slow but decent player if fit and would take him over Dowell or Lammers.
  6. Sakala, Hagi and Colak are not of the required standard for Rangers. I was not sorry to see them go at the time. However, they are miles ahead of what has been brought in!
  7. Posted on the ticket forum but its not been approved yet. I've got 2 spares for Main stand front today if anyone wants them for free. I will be in Club Deck hospitality so will dive down and scan you in when you arrive, just DM me on here and will swap numbers.
  8. If Lawrence and Dowell still ain't fit, alongside Cantwell and Raskin then squad is very thin from midfield onwards.
  9. That stopped about the late 90s after a number of defections and a falling out over an unpaid debt which culminated in the ICF turning over the Staging Post in Airdrie one Saturday night.
  10. Games the morra and there's no even a thread to discuss? Get the finger out.
  11. Seen folk standing pissing in folk's Gardens before the game disgrace.
  12. Presenter on Heart and Hand claimed Betis are 3rd most well supported items in Spain yesterday.
  13. I think there deffo something to 1 and 2. Over the last 30/40 years if Rangers play Betis or any other Spanish side in Europe, we are not winning. Beating a La Liga side when you play in Scotland is a pretty big deal. But I don't think the atmosphere at full time reflected that.
  14. Before when we were beating sides like Ralid Vienna etc (who are no where near the status of Betis) the place was bouncing afterwards. We were all delighted to be winning in Europe against respectable sides. I think there are a few issues behind that: 1. Now we have come to expect to win in Europe and don't appreciate it like we maybe should. 2. I think that the fans, unconsciously, see our European journey as being an arc, with Seville being the peak and now we are on the slide. Anything less than the final is not as exciting any more. 3. For most Europe is seen as a bonus. The league is the bread and butter, so if we are doing badly in the league, then what happens in Europe is not that important. I also think that most fans have made their minds up on Beale and winning in Europe is unlikely to have much impact in changing any minds. I think he's at the stage where he's going to find it very very difficult to recover and convicne fans that hes the right man for the job. If we win a game now the attitude is "well we should be winning anyway". Even if we win 5 on the trot, it will only shift the dial in a posotive direction very slightly, he will get some goodwill, but not a lot and it would be easily lost with one bad performance. If you compare goodwill towards Beale as like a bank account then he is well in to his over draft. A win reduces his overdraft slightly, but he still remains over drawn.
  15. You want sign language? Braille? Think it's pretty easy to comprehend for anyone with a reading ability above that of a primary 2 child.
  16. Ben Davies did well tonight, looked much more solid than Souttar but we've seen before that all it takes is one mistake and he spirals.
  17. Brilliant result against a decent side who Rangers deserved to beat. I thought they'd have dominated possession but they weren't allowed to. I think playing with Sima and Mattondo made them have to play deeper than they have liked which freed up more room for lundstram to take the ball and find men. If we beat Betis any other year the place would have been rocking but it was quite flat throughout, I think that's ominous for Beale as he's not getting much, if any credit, when he's winnining.
  18. Poor in comparison to recent years where its been sell outs and people struggling for tickets.
  19. Poor sales was almost inevitable after last year when people felt they'd been ripped off in the CL and then it was followed up by humiliating performances. I think a lot of people seem to assume that the club could sell the stadium many times over and demand for tickets vastly out strips supply, but there is significant evidence that isn't the case. The board will be very aware that the greatest income stream they have is precarious.
