  1. Of course that Rangers gave the ok, on the international level Cruz Azul still has to answer to the parent club, but on the local scene they do this kind of dealings all the time, supose they are dividing the wages with Necaxa (but in a shady way) i'am speculating of course, because things of these kind are always "secreto a voces" meaning secret well known but never confirmed nor official. Mexican boards are the worst, i have lost all faith in my country's league.
  2. Yeah my friend, is usual stuff in the so called draft, the dealing is between the clubs (mexicano clubs), then the agent ask the player "do you want to go there?" yeah why not" ok will announce it pending medical, if the player says no, then they ban him and block him to sign with another club in México....bizarre right?
  3. I liked more the idea of hummel, i had never hear about JD until now
  4. There is no reports of medicals, he is suposedly still in rehab, see football in México is a strange animal, dealings here are different from the rest of the world, there is no bossman, a lot of corruption and shady deals, there is a draft...
  5. El tri was clearly superior to Scotland, at one point mexican players were just having fun and not taking seriously enough the game, surely this is not the best Scotland has to offer, also i did not see any Rangers players, i think only Murphy on the bench.
  6. There is the rumour here that Necaxa (mexican club) are willing to give him a chance to stay playing in the first division if he sort his drinking problems out. Maybe that's why he and his agent are looking a settlement with Rangers.
  7. I wouldn't be surprise at all, the directors/board overhere are a bunch of corrupt assholes.
  8. Totally disapointed on this guy, there Is nothing there anymore (football wise), last year i had high expectations of what he could bring to Rangers, i had hopes of him performing like he once did, huge let down, he Is hopeless now, the only way he is relevant is in the newspapers and not for the right reasons.
  9. The other players are not warming up like machines neither, there is some overreaction i think
  10. Iñigo You don't have to apologize because i kind of liked the song ?, i must to confess that i have a soft spot for the 80's, Oh the terrible hair cuts!! Do you think Graeme Souness is the greatest of one of the greatest players in Scotland's history? And more important do you think there will be a resurface of Scotland on the international level like back in those days?
  11. Yes, surely México 86' has to be one of the best world cups in history, Maradona was a great player no doubt a total "maestro", i know comparisons in football aren't always fair, but I can't help to think that Pelé was a more complete footballer, i know the eternal discussion "who is the greatest", "this one is better", etc. The reason i asked about England at the world cup is because i was under the impression that some Scottish fans would be supporting them, mainly Rangers fans that are pro UK, i know there are football rivalries and all, but maybe i need to learn more about your rivalries and history, my bad. Yeah we are a bunch of passionate and proud fans (i think there is similarities with Rangers supporters in that regard ) there is a strong feeling of tradition and mexicanism (ithink i just made that word ?) that our biggest and most hated rivals don't have (club América or as we call them gallinas=hen, chickens, pollos=chickens, wilas=slang word for whores). Modern football have been slowly killing football traditions and is sad to see. The protestant trait is one of the things i like and find appealing about Rangers been Christian/protestant myself in a catholic country so i identify with that value, although we don't have that kind of strain between us as you have overthere. If you like Canelo you can have him i could trade him to yo for Rose Leslie ?, a redhead for a redhead, i hate that guy hahaha and i love her since i watch her on game of thrones, sounds like a pretty good deal right? Haha All the best to you aswell.
  12. Yeah football overthere is very physical and high tempo, Peña wasn’t suited for that kind of pressure atleast not right away, and from what i have been reading on the forum Rangers needed someone to hit the ground running, as you describe mexican football allows you to be more time on the ball. About boxing, well Marquez sure was a good one not like the current ones Chavez jr and canelo Alvarez i don't like them one bit. I was 3 years old back then, but I have seen videos of México 86', i think the first world cup that i saw live was USA 94'. Will you cheer for England in this world cup? Thanks for that, but i'm not afected by it, people seems to forget that Trump is a demagogue and he says what he thinks the american people want to hear and the construction of such wall is not just a lie to appease an specific group/sector of society but also a very unrealistic endeavor. When i have been to USA and to another countries people had treat me with nothing but respect, see the perception that a very few want to spread about mexicans is wrong for saying the least, we have our problems like any society maybe more i don't know, after all we are still a third world country, but to say all mexicans are this or that it is as wrong as saying all americans are red necks or all germans are nazi for example. Nonetheless he is a clasless individual and without any notion of common sense. My team is Club Deportivo Guadalajara (Chivas), it was founded in 1906 by a belgian bussinessman, and isthe most important football club in México, like Rangers is the one with more titles, we are the only team in the whole league to play only with mexicans that is one of the reasons amongst others why Chivas is so popular. Best regards, cheers mate as you would say.

  14. I always liked him as a player, when he wants he can be a great asset, very dangerous towards goal, creative and intelligent, but he lacks in attitude and some other areas, he has never been a player with great sacrifice and defensive atributes, but still he could do a work in the right formation/style of playing. Overhere he has some reputation of liking the party life style too much and that kind of stuff has damage to some extend the public perception about him, but in general he is highly rated (when in form) some fans hate him, some still expect to see the player he was 2 and half years ago, at the beginning of the season i had high expectations of what he could do for Rangers, sadly sometimes things doesn't work like we want to. I have been watching Rangers this season, mainly the games broadcasted by ESPN (mexican branch), some by streaming also and miss a few, i think scottish football is very different to what i'm used to but i like Rangers and hope to continue following the club even without the mexican players, its not going to be easy, because without my countrymem the broadcast of Rangers in México will stop.
  15. And then people criticize and is unforgiven with foreigners who arrive to Rangers from abroad, and don't speak any english and the culture, weather and everything is very different from what they have known their entire lives. Why they are struggling to adapt? Who knows right?
  16. Yes, there is not a single reliable source on the matter. Here the newspapers are saying he is on $520,000 pesos per week wich is somenthing like €22k euros £20k pounds, and they are quoting the Brittish media, they are running in circles, so who knows.
In relation to the wage that he will receive, i heard somewhere that he is the best paid. I don't know, but the only thing i can say to you is that the official figures are far from the ones you are throwing about" That is what the Cruz Azul sporting director said, but like i told you before i would not believe him or any other mexican club board, director, owner, president, etc. They are all untrustworthy, sadly mexican football is a reflection of our society corrupt and shady.
  18. I would not believe anything that mexicans boards and directors say, if you think Rangers board is bad, mexican owners and football boards are worse, corrupt and shady bastards
  19. My thoughts exactly, some people here...
  20. I'm truly dissapointed on him, i had high expectations of what he could do for Rangers, i hope this doesn't reflect badly in another mexican players nor mexican work ethic, attitude and commitment in general. P.D. I don't know what he is doing with the short in his nose.
  21. Happy new year everyone, and a great 2018. God bless you all.
  22. My sincere condolences to you and your family, i know how it hurts, i lost my dad last year on december 11 and he was 66 too (heart failure) it was devastating, keep strong, eventually things got better and you will remember her with love and happiness for the person she was.
