To be fair to him, even though I could have strangled him sometimes, at his best he terrorised defences here and across Europe and the persecution and victimisation he experienced (as a young man halfway round the world coming to earn a living and set up home in Scotland) from our football authorities and our disgusting mhedia is something that I will never forget.

Our resident arsehole is defending the Incredible Sulk, not out of lasting affection or respect for Morelos, but because he simply wants to argue the opposite of the majority of posters who are indifferent at best, or just downright angry at the player’s efforts (even allowing for injury) since his return. The Morelos we all loved left a long, long time ago and, along with the memories, he left a sad parody, twice the size, half the speed and a tiny fraction of the effort.

Are you happy with his attitude and condition this season? Would you be happy if the rest of the squad matched his sluggishness and apathy? A couple of Yes/No type answers would be appreciated, with particular emphasis on this season.

It’s not just the number of injuries, it’s the atrocious recovery times. Where players of other teams take days, we take weeks. Where they take weeks, we take months. Once or twice could be bad luck but the volume of players missing months or even years suggests consistent and deep rooted failure. To shrug it off as just bad luck is beyond stupid.

We’re looking at three forwards imo because Beale doesn’t fancy Colak and Roofe is made of damp rich tea biscuits. Start from scratch up front I think.

Think that is as much about making a statement that none of the remaining fit outfield players deserve even a spot on the bench. His opinion of them is so low, he’d rather have kids and keepers on the bench.

Mind already made up on Wright, Matondo and Kamara by the looks of it. May as well see how the U21 Fives team does from the bench. Kent and Morelos will never wear the famous jersey again and rightly so.
