If it was up to me it would be: McCulloch, Webster, Gow, Velicka, Adam, G Smith, Whittaker and one of the guys who will only have twelve months left on their contract come Summer. Any team who attempts a midfield 4 with 2 wingers would probably be beaten by about 3 goals. In fairness to Smith, the 4-5-1 was one of the very few things he's got right since returning. The defensive manner in which he has used it is not right. A 4-5-1 developing into a 4-3-3 like some continental teams use is fair enough but Smith never played 4-5-1 in that manner.
