j1mgg 3,766 Posted July 22, 2009 Share Posted July 22, 2009 It is different fro different apps. General way is to turn off system restore, disconnect from the network and run a virus check. Once that is complete and if it finds anything it will put it in the vault. Then you should be able to delete quarantined items and restart you machine. Turn back on system restore and plug ethernet cable back in or turn wireless back on. You might also want to run spybot search and destroy. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
