Jimfanciesthedude 24,986
smith should use these as a training tool for either the young players or the first teamers who are returning from injury as much as id like to see us win the treble, wining the league is a first, and giving the "mature" players a wee break now and again from these competitions could be whats required

lancedeangers1 287
I know why your suggesting that theory mate but I couldnt endorse it. Us basically sacrificing winning any trophies more or less hands them to RAceltic, and I just couldnt stomach that. We are the famous Rangers and the worlds most successful club, because we win more than anyone else. Let the legend continue.
Gaffbear 4,104
I'd play the youth in both cups cos to me they mean little..The Scottish cup is a good day out but the league is priority by a mile
Tumshie 205
Would certainly use the League Cup for that purpose
GeneralCartmanLee 313
Would certainly use the League Cup for that purpose Yep. First team for the Scottish cup though. If we are attempting to bring through young guys this season than these league cup games could be invaluable experience for them
CraigRFC 1
The league cup is only 3 4 games though max

Don't want to see us throw away either domestic cup, if the youngsters are good enough they should be breaking into the first team in any competition. flecky1 4
play our young guns and let septic get a better chance of challenging us for the treble? no chance if they are good enough play them in ANY competition like ANY other club. its down to walter and if he thinks they are good enough or not. MOST are not good enough, thats our problem.
