was flicking through the radio stations while driving to work the other day and caught the end of van halens fantastic song ''jump''.The first thing that sprung to my mind when i heard the synth was memories of rangers v marseille at the velodrome as that was the song that the players came out to at the start of the game.That got me thinking what other mainstream songs that you would hear on the radio and tv music channels which have nothing to do with rangers but would immediately bring rangers to my mind when i hear them.

As i mentioned before van halens ''jump''is one that does for me but there are a few others as well such as Foo Fighters ''The Best of You'' (from uefa cup final pre-match),Kings of Leons Sex/Place is on fire(Ibrox post match celebrations of championship win) ,quiete strangely Big Countrys ''The Chance'' (have an old vhs from 92/93 games against Leeds and that is being played in the background during interviews with players) and also Billy Oceans ''When The Going Gets Tough''(again on an old vhs think it was on season 88/89 review)
