scotty657 1
According to a report by Spanish daily Marca, the Valencia striker - coveted by several English teams - will sign for the Catalan giants at the end of the Primera Liga season. At the moment the agreement is a verbal one and is being kept quiet until the current campaign is over. However, Marca claims Barcelona presidential candidate Joan Laporta is keen to use the big-name capture as a key component of his campaign for re-election in June.Either way, negotiations with Villa are said to have been concluded - meaning both City and the Gunners, as well as several other English clubs said to be eyeing up a move for the Spaniard, have missed out.Villa, it seems, was keen to remain in Spain and is said to have been influenced by international team-mate Fernando Torres' negative comments about the physical nature of the Premier League. Get him in for Ibra and he will score a fucking shedload.

Stu1993 101
if he comes in you have to move Ibra out IMO. Both are players who should be played down the middle and unless the go to a 4-2-2-2 ( 2 centre defensive 2 wide and two up top. ) i dont see it working. Chookes 25
How reliable are Marca's scoops? I remember reading a few Marca's reports but can't remember how many of them have been spot on.
Cappa 24
Marca are usually spot on with Madrid related stuff so who knows how accurate they'll be with the rest of La Liga. There's definitely interest from Barca, that much is official.
papaguy51 941
If he signs Fabregas and Villa, they really need someone like Toure or Momo Sissoko in the middle of the park because they'll be the smallest team in Europe.
BasileBoliSoup 9
If he signs Fabregas and Villa, they really need someone like Toure or Momo Sissoko in the middle of the park because they'll be the smallest team in Europe.Aye Inter just forced them to go wide and swing crosses in which Samuel and Lucio mopped up. They had no height apart from Pique once Ibrahimovic went off.
Cappa 24
Apparently it's verbally agreed that Villa will join Barcelona for 40M euros and Valencia will get Hleb and Bojan. Amazing deal all round, if true.Edit - Mata linked with Barcelona's left wing too.
