Leeds agree fee for McCormack

Leeds United have confirmed they have agreed a fee with Cardiff City for Scotland international Ross McCormack.

Skysports.com confirmed on Monday the 24-year-old was set to hold talks with Leeds, reports the club have now confirmed.

McCormackspacer.gif made an immediate impact at Cardiff in his debut season, scoring 21 league goals in the 2008/09 campaign.

He bagged four Championship goals last term, although more of his appearances came as a substitute.

Following the arrival of Craig Bellamy,spacer.gif City have now allowed McCormack to hold transfer talks at Elland Road.

Leeds will complete the signing of the Scotland international subject to agreeing personal terms and passing a medical.

The Whites have made a decent start to life in the Championship after taking four points from their opening three league games.
