Wilbert 416
Bought a new back housing case for my iphone 3gs and put it on ok but my earpiece wouldn't work. Everything was working fine apart from that, so I handed it into a local "phone repair shop". Guy said it would cost a tenner to take the phone apart and reconnect the wire I had trouble with. Got it back to find out not only was my earpiece not working but my home button is also not working. So iv basically just gave them a tenner to break my home button ! anyone know the right way to go about this/say when I go back down on monday without being cheeky
Gid 46
The home button stopping working is a common fault on the iPhone. Mine stopped working in June suddenly after being stiff for a few weeks. The same thing then happened to my on/off button a couple months later. Admittedly I had had the iPhone for almost 2 years at the time but still wasn't chuffed.
