thats what happens, a manager lives and dies by his decisions. If he brings in a new player and doesn't play him, its admitting defeat, and very rarely do you see managers do that, so we'll continue to see the "old pals" act, which was one of the reasons I never fancied McCoist as manager, the squad needed a new philosophy and a fresh perspective, which you wont get with the same backrom staff.

This is almost a carbon copy of what happened to the taigs last year, these games have come to soon for us,yes we should have had the quality to beat both these teams but we have to get behind the team now and make sure we win this league, ally will get it right and learn from his mistakes, once we get the new players bedded in we will see a different rangers .

The fact you went for 'etc' over an actual player who would have changed things tonight says it all. Its not about favourites, its about options. which we will have soon

Surely we have a player in the youth team who is better than ortiz?

I could have done a better job tonight.

McMillan is a better option at RB than Broadfoot.

Perry is a better option at CB than Bocanegra and possibly Bartley.

Ness and Hutton are better then Edu and McCulloch.

Wylde is better than Ortiz.

Who cares if they are young? They are better than what we are seeing from some expereinced players who play week in week out.

Edu was the only player in the starting eleven who I have a problem with. He's so bad it's like we're playing with a man down.

Give Ortiz time. We play a style of football which must leave him frustrated and disillusioned. He did some decent stuff at Motherwell. He needs to stop recklessly fouling people though. Don't know what that's all about.
