Couple of observations today. Firstly Jelavic : On not one occasion did he manage to hold the ball up as the main striker should and more often than not he ended up on the seat of his pants. Granted he won his fair share in the air but only a greyhound could have got on the end of them. He's not the same player as last season and in fact Healy is better at linking up the play. The best i've seen from us in the last few weeks was against Motherwell where with no Jelavic we started 442 with Laff and Healy and ended 451. If we get a good offer he has to go i don't think his minds on the job.... Secondly, the substitutions.... No matter how many chances the much maligned Healy misses IMO he's more likely to get you a goal than either Wylde or Kerkar. Wallace was doing ok on the left and young Wylde again struggled to get his corner beyond the near post... If we had gone a goal down under WS there was never any knee jerk substitutions... There was still over half an hour left after they scored and we always seem to get a lift when we go a goal down..... Different if we had impact players on the bench but he should have left the starting 11 to finish the job. I know its easy to say after the event but ask anyone sitting around me I was really raging at Ally. Tactics? Some of our team selections this season have been bizarre to say the least and I think this is pretty much a steep learning curve for Ally. He tries to be bold at times but when you hear him after games you wonder if he's been watching the same game... Maybe too protective of his players, some of them look as if they could do with a right shake....

Agree, particularly about Jelavic. Maybe he just likes eating grass. He seams to look for an opposition player when the high ball is coming and ends up on eez arse, like he's playin for the foul. As for his flick ons, he is kiddin his self and every wan else on! Keep thinkin he's waiting on getting his picture taken. Just don't don't like this part of his game.
