BF2 winston 123
Apologies if this is in the wrong place. Does anybody have any idea as to why the Copland diner shut. I assume was due to lack of custom during off season. Always udsed to go in befoer a match seemed to be a busy enough place on matchdays. CanadianBacon 2,088
Was only a portocabin. but none the less was a good wee place and great value for what you got.It is alleged that under cover of darkness a gang of booze-addled junkies from the homeless hostel opposite said munching establishment on Copland Road lifted the entire portocabin, carried it bodily along the length of Edmiston Drive and sold it for scrap to a dealer somewhere near Govan Cross. They raised the huge sum of £19.35p which bought them a tenner bag and a couple of bottles of Buckfast Abbey's finest tipple. It was some party that night at the Copland hostel. So it is alleged. Johnson 27
There was a dispute over rental costs, so the lassie who ran it went back to running the catering at the Neptune Club.I'm sure there will be a new client in the Portacabin soon.To be fair, the conspiracy theories were much more interesting.
