Straight-Edge-Loyal 6,699
Buy the Xbox headset rather than third party stuff seems to work a lot better I've had one official controller I've had since the first 360 I've had and in that time I've had 4 third party ones and two battery packs. CaptainAmerica18 846
Parental controls? Sure you can set it so you can't talk to people. The only other thing I can think of.
Colin. 38
The first thing to do would be to check if the volume on the mic is turned up and isn't set to mute. Then check the xbox to make sure the voice settings are configured correctly. I looked it up and can see it is not a detachable mic, so if it is configured correctly then its most likely broken I'm afraid. I would recommend Tritton headsets as the build quality is great.Buy the Xbox headset rather than third party stuff seems to work a lot better I've had one official controller I've had since the first 360 I've had and in that time I've had 4 third party ones and two battery packs. The third party battery packs are useless! I've had 2 of those die on me rather quickly. Rechargeable batteries are the best option for the controllers.
