Poetry_In_Blue 1,043 Posted June 27, 2007 Share Posted June 27, 2007 Someone in a thread was talking about Smith, possibly not playing again etc, can't remember which one.Anyway, Smith had a Hernia operation at the end of the season, prior to this he had just started light training, but due to the operation he is taking an extended break and is not ready to return to training.Either Broadfoot or Papac will start at left back until Smith is ready again, but there are no plans for him leaving the club.
